Rubbing the Arms

"You may massage the arms to stimulate the heart, lung and heart constrictor meridians which run down the inside of the arm, and the triple heater, large intestine and small intestine meridians which run up on the outside of the arms toward the shoulders. Place the left palm on the inside of the right shoulder and in a continuous motion, rub the palm down through the inside of the elbow to the tips of the fingers. Then bring the left palm over the fingers and continue to rub up the back of the hand, through the outside of the elbow onto the shoulder. Repeat this movement twelve times. Then reverse by bringing the right hand onto the left arm, and rubbing first downward on the inside of the arm, then upward along the outside of the arm. Repeat the motion twelve times also." *
