Brain Cleanse II


"The Brain Cleansing II breathing exercise is performed while in a standing position (it may also be practiced from a prone position while lying on one's back) with the feet slightly apart but parallel to each other. The hands are relaxed but straight and are held at the sides of the body, and the head is in an upright position as in the first position of the Turtle exercise. Begin by exhaling the breath to completely empty the lungs. Now drop the head back and begin to inhale slowly. As you inhale, expand the chest and bring the arms up away from the sides of your body so that you bring the hands together up over your head with the palms together. (Do not strain during any of these movements. If it is impossible to touch the hands together comfortably, simply raise the hands as far as they will go and stop there.) As you bring the arms up over the head , feel as if you are brining in the active (yang) energy of the universe into your lungs, body and mind. You may visualize in your mind's eye a white smoke, fire or a steam coming in to fill up the body and mind as in the Brain Cleansing I breathing exercise. After you have inhaled a full breath, and while still keeping the arms held over your head, hold the breath in, lock your anal muscles and relax in this pose for as long as you can without strain. Feel as if the white smoke is coming up to completely pentrate every space inside the mind so that you cannot see or think about anything else but the white cloud inside yourself. Feel the energy circulating around within your body and your mind, knowing that it is beginning to wash away all of your negative thoughts.

"Next, as you slowly begin to exhale, bring the head forward, separate the hands; keeping the arms straight, move them back down to your sides. As your hands move in the downward arc, try to visualize the passive (yin) energy from the earth coming into the arms through your fingers. This exercise is symbolic of embracing the entire universe so that one achieves a feeling of oneness from uniting the earthly passive energy with the active, heavenly energy. [**DON'T CONFUSE THIS WITH THE NEGATIVE "ALL IS ONE" OF THE RHP RELIGIONS THAT SEEK TO CREATE A COLLECTIVE HERD- I OFFER THE ABOVE WITHIN A DIFFERENT CONTEXT. IN SATANISM WE RECOGNIZE POLARITY, COSMIC INTERPLAY, INDIVIDUAL WILL, BUT WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT, WE ARE EARTH-UNIVERSE CIRCUITS.**] As you continue to exhale, imagine the white smoke coming out of the body and being replaced by a very rich, blue sky inside your head; when you have finished exhaling, then repeat the breathing and arm movement sequence a minimum of seven times or until you feel like stopping.







"It is refreshing to practice this exercise out of doors in the sunshine, gathering the fresh air into the body. As you perform the arm movements, feel as if you are reaching out to touch the clouds and the sky and that the rich blue color comes in to fill up your mind. As well as helping to balance one's energy, this exercise provides a marvelous stretch to the back, shoulders and arms and relieves tension and fatigue from the body as well as helping to keep the mind alert and fresh. It is therefore beneficial to practice the Brain Cleansing II exercise at any time during the day when you feel tired, such as in the morning upon arising, at the office or in the evening after work." *
