On the outside,
she looks fine.
She is healthy,
happy, and smiles all the time.
But when she goes home,
a different person appears.
one filled with rage
and anger and many fears.
She can not show
her true self,
for she does not want pity.
She feels the pain,
but keeps it to herself.
For she does not want
anyone to also feel
the pain.
On the outside,
she looks sane.
She looks like a girl
with nothing to lose
and everything to gain.
She does not frown
or cry or pout
when she is out.
But when she is sitting
alone in her room,
all of her pain is let out
in her tears.
She often thinks of suicide.
She knows she can't wait
for the day that she will die.
So, for now she just sits
and waits and pretends
that everything is alright.
But deep down inside,
she can't wait for the
day that she dies.
