Ricky's Counterstrike Webpage

Hello, for everybody out there who loves to play CS, this is for you. As you probly know, counterstrike is a 1st person shooter, played on the internet with other people. CS is played in different servers, controlled by admins, who control the server and the people in the server. Admins can have powers, such as turning on and off the gravity so you can jump higher, kicking people off the server, or banning them, in which they can never return to that server, and other things, like changing the map. Admins can give themself weapons and equipment, and can abuse their powers sometimes by doing unordenary things, suck as chicken mode, in which the admin turns the player into a chichen so they cannot pick up a weapon and can jump higher with more hp, waiting to die. There are many different maps, or stages to be played in CS such as dust,dust2,aztec,militia,assault,iceworld,italy,inferno,vertigo, etc.... all require skill and are extremely fun. The maps i just named are mostly normal maps, where all servers go, but some servers have custom maps, and only that server or few servers go to. These maps are normally smaller and different. When you start a game of CS, you pick weather you would like to be CT, or counter-terrorist. Or T, which is Terrorist. Depending on the map, both of these teams have missions. missions such as....Dust-Terrorist have to plant the c4 exposive and blow it up. Oilrig-CT have to protect the VIP to the helicopter, and the VIP cannot carry any weapon besides his pistol.. Italy- CT have to Rescue the hostages and get them back to their spawn, or starting point. If you accomplish this objective, then you receive money. as you receive money for killing an opponent, or just surviving a round. The more money you have, the more weapons and equipment you can buy. At the beginning of each round, each team will start with 1 pistol and 3 clips, then you buy what you want and play the round, if you do not survive the whole round and die, then you watch the other players in first or third person modes until the round is over and the next begins. Depending on what server map times can range from 10 min. to never changes, some servers only play 1 or 2 maps. Counterstrike is hightly addictive, and i mean extremely addictive, once you get started, you never will want to stop. Some servers prefer the more realistic route, by going with ff, or friendly fire. This is where if you shoot your own team, they will feel it and get hurt, but some servers just see it as a video game and turn off ff because some people purposly kill their own team if somebody accendently shoots them like so. So many servers have punishments, if you TK, or team-kill, then you will be punished, slapped kicked slayed banned, or the more entertaining TK punishments such as....slapped constantly with 0 damage, slapped to 1 health at the beggining of a round, making the person a ticking time bomb, making the person drop all weapons and cant pick them up, making them stuck in the ground, setting them on fire, etc...Counter-Strike is a modification (MOD) to the excellent game, Half-Life. It modifies the multiplayer aspects of Half-Life to bring to it a more team-oriented gameplay. Counter-Strike provides the player with an experience that a trained counter-terrorist unit or terrorist unit experiences. Now check out my links to my other pages to learn more!
