Habbo Hotel FAQS

The hotel navigator is like a teleporter in which you can get from places to places with just a click of the mouse. To call up this navigator, just click on this icon . You will see a list of public rooms. If you want to go to guest rooms instead, just click on Guest rooms. You will then see a list of popular rooms. Rooms on that list means that they have the most number of people in it at the moment. Click on the room you want to go and just press go to enter it. Sometimes, you may not be able to enter the room because it's full. Guest rooms can have a maximum of 25 people and public rooms a maximum of 40. Even though it may state that, say for example, 22 people are in a guest room, you still may not be able to enter as people are constantly moving in and out of rooms. Therefore, it can have a few spaces vacant but by the time you click it, more people have already gone in to fill it up. If you really want to get into a room, just keep trying and you will eventually get in =)

(NOTE: You can try entering even though it says the room is full beacuse like I said, people are constantly moving in and out of rooms and chances are quite high that you will get in)

Chatting in rooms

When you are in a room, there are 3 types of modes you can talk in. Shout, Talk or Whisper. If you want to be heard by everyone in the room then set it to shout. If you want only a few people who are fairly near you to be able to hear you choose talk. But if you only want the people sitting or standing next to you to see what your saying, choose whisper. People away from you will not be able to see what you typed at all. However, people may be able to hear a little of what you say if they are not too near enough to hear you completely but not so far off as to not hear anything. You can see what I mean from the example below. (This usually happens when your mode is set to talk)

Please remember not to use any vulgar words or sexual terms while chatting on habbo hotel!

Types of rooms
All the hotel rooms are generally divided into 2 sections, Public rooms and Guest rooms. Public rooms mean rooms which are created by the hotel manager and where everyone is welcomed. Guest rooms are created by habbos and some of them may be locked.

We're going to take a look at the type of guest rooms there are. For example, there are rooms which are for competitions, trading, or even mafia hangouts! Listed below are all the different types of guest rooms. Just choose the room you want to see.

Slangs Habbos Use

Furni

This is the most commonly used slang in Habbo Hotel. Don't be too puzzled, it's actually just the short form for furniture.

Creds

This stands for credits, which is Habbo Currency. Got it?

A/S/L

This is used pratically EVERYWHERE on online chats but just in case you don't know, it stands for Age/Sex/Location.

Bobba

This is not really a slang but you may just be seeing it quiet often. If you're wondering what it is, it's actually a filtered word which means if anyone types a vulgar word, it appears as this!

Things you should be aware off

Although it's fun in Habbo Hotel, you must be aware of some of the dangers that lurk around. Many (and I mean many) people are trying to steal your account. The one way to stay safe? Simple. Just remember this rule... No matter what,where or why, DO NOT give out your password.
Also, make sure you read the SCAMS! section thoroughly. That way, I promise you will never get scammed or hacked! =D
