As you know from the welcome page... Black Acid Prophecy is a new South Florida metal band. It is rather hard to label us... we have elements of thrash, death metal, power metal, progressive... blah blah blah blah. The best way to sum us up is metal due to are extensive list of influences.

We are influenced by: Overkill, Carcass, WASP, Dream Theater, Annihilator, Exodus, Testament, Iced Earth, Suicidal Tendencies, Manowar, Anthrax, Dismember, Slayer, Diamond Head, Alice In Chains, The Misfits, Samhain, Danzig, Metallica, Anacrusis, Megadeth, Venom, Kreator, Tool, Possessed, Nuclear Assault, Dark Tranquillity, Mercyful Fate, King Diamond, Death Angel, At the Gates, Acid Bath, Cannibal Corpse, Deceased, Motorhead, Dark Angel, Forbidden, Deicide... ect.

Our goal is to reach out to our fans. We are nothing more than an extention of our listeners. The songs we write deal the issues of life. There are people out there who feel like they are lost in the shuffle, they feel they can not change what is wrong with this country or them selves. We just want to let the people who listen to us know that they are not the only ones who feel that way.

Another goal of ours is to challenge the PMRC. The PMRC (Parental Music Resource Center) has been dealing shit to artists and music groups since the mid 80's. They are the one who designed those little warning labels on cds. The PMRC has attacked bands and artists such as... WASP, Twisted Sister, Frank Zapa, H.R. Giger, Dead Kennedys, and many others.

This group of Washington Wives will not tell us what we can and can not write, they are not going to tell us what we can and can not play, and they sure as fuck arent going to damn thing about it.

We are the preachers of chaos and you will be our Diciples of Chaos. You'll never hear us play a country song, we aren't rappers, we aren't god rockers... we are Black Acid Prophecy.
