You Never Know, know you don't! | In another brush with censorship foisted upon him by the SHS Courier this cartoon was denied publication, in favor of a freshman cartoon drawn in ballpoint, because the layout editor didn't think this was "that funny." But then, battles with this publications liberal censorship of whatever they feel like this week is a whole other topic. This is just a light-hearted cartoon. Apologies about the side-scrollyness of this page, but when the prohibitive expense of correcting this tragedy was considered, it was also remembered that life as a NotArtist pays very little, which is likely why Arthur refuses to spend any of his own cash. On a related note, a Courier staff-member released the following statement concerning the ballpoint cartoon: "The little boy who drew the cartoon was utilizing various forms of understatement and satire to make light of various political figures. That's why the joke isn't immediately apparent. You see, according to the constitution, satire and understatement have to be so cryptic as the make the humour totally humourless. Otherwise, you go to the gas chamber."
