This is what the front side of
a Lobsterback note looks like

You Never Know,
know you don't!
Lobsterback!

That's right everybody, the great Lobsterback hunt is on!!

What's that?

You don't know what the Great Lobsterback hunt is?

Well, it's like this see...

Somewhere, could be anywhere, Lobsterback notes are hidden. They're are pictures of a sign featuring a drawn lobster and the phrase "Thank you for not Climbing on the Lobster." Now while we did doctor it up a bit, it is basically just a picture taken by James "Kibo" Parry at the Boston Children's Museum. They are distributed in various sizes and types be we, the NotArtists, and NotArt affiliate groups. On any size paper, some Lobsterbacks may have various messages on the back of them. If there is a message featuring a code number, that is a registration code to prove that the Lobsterback has been found, and also may enter the finder in a contest drawing. Other Lobsterbacks are completely blank on the reverse side. Still others may be even more special. For example, certain Lobsterback notes have a picture of Jack Valenti, president of the MPAA looking rather bland on them. The finding of one of those automatically launches the finder into the winners list, to which prizes of some sort may very well be awarded. If all goes well, it is completely expected that some grand-winners of the contest will be rewarded with a Trip to Jail, but more on that later. As verifications of Lobsterback sightings pour in, they will be listed here, on this particular page, in the order in which they were verified.

There have been no Lobsterback notes found since the creation of this page.
