Vic and Della puppies are all doing great in their now homes. They have produced many therapy dogs, a handicap assistance dog, and some wonderful pets.

Daiquiri 6 months 6 months old

Daiquiri von Draggahaus went to her new home at 6 months of age. Her new owners have two small children, who were so excited about the new puppy. She immediately took the position of the guardian of the girls. She slept her first night outside the girls door. When one of the "baby dolls" fell over and was out of its place she barked until "mom" came to investigate, and fix the problem. She watches over the girls in the yard and won't let any of the wild squirrels come near her babies. She gets to go to work with "mom and dad", and plays with the owners small mix breed dog. Pictured at 8 weeks old, and 6 months.

Dharma 6 months old

Dharma

Dharma von Draggahaus, call name "Maxine" is pictured here as a puppy. She was bought as a protection dog and pet. She has shown her natural protectiveness, without being overbearing. She regularly goes on nightly walks with her owner. She has a confidence about her that keeps people at their distance. She lives in the city, she is not a large female, standing 24" at the shoulder, weighting about 50 lbs. She lives in an apartment, and is soft on her feet so as not to wake the neighbors. Her owner has two pomeranians, one male and one female; "Max" loves them dearly. Pictured here at 8 weeks and 6 months.

Dito

Dito von Draggahaus was purchased from us as a trained puppy. He had all his basic obedience and went to his new home when he was 6 months old. He is living in an apartment, but gets daily walks for exercise. It took him a little bit to settle into his new home, but once he bonded to his new family he settled right into his new life in Irving, TX and is loved dearly by his family.

Dillion von Draggahaus SD,TD,CGC

Dillion Thomas Walterskirchen von Draggahaus,(boy does he know when he's in trouble!) Dillion means 'Faithful' in Gaelic and he is really living up to his name. He is 26" at the shoulder, 82 lbs at 17 months, Tan sable, OFA prelim "Excellent". Occupation: Service dog, buddy, pet. Titles: Service Dog, Certified Pet Therapy Dog, and his CGC. Favorite Activities: Chasing anything that is thrown. Going to the beach, going for walks, playing in the snow, and with his buddies. Learning new things. Going to Disneyland and other road trips, playing with his kitties. And going to work with Mommy. Least Favorite Activities: Getting toenails done. Eating, and being left at home. Going shopping.

Dillion is my Service dog. I am legally blind and he helps me in several ways. I have trouble judging uneven surfaces and Dillon gives me balance and gives me more of a feel of the surface I'm walking on. He also gives me support if I need to get up or bend over. He helps pull me up steep hills and helps balance me when we go down. (I am 6 months pregnant and that really helps!) Dillon also gives me a sense of security when in areas I don't feel as safe. He watches everything around us alerting me to possible problems. Also, he is just plain big and imposing and I don't think most people would even consider crossing him. We are working on learning to find named items and bringing them to me. He is wonderful in obedience and just loves to learn. I can't say enough wonderful things about him. He has a heart of gold. He gets along with just about everyone- two or four legged. He stays with me no matter where I go but isn't clingy or demanding. I brought Dillon home at 10 months after he was trained by Heather. He has such a good foundation from her that teaching him new things is so easy and a joy for both of us. When Heather learned what I needed, she suggested Dillon and she couldn't have matched us better. If you need a reference please feel free to email me.

Dereck has gone to live in a pet home and is doing home protection. His owner works at home, and is there alone quite a bit. He is doing well and fits into the family just wonderfully.

Bosco just turned 2 years old and is maturing beautifully. He works 2-3 days a week as a therapy dog comforting Alzheimer's patients in a nursing home, where he is much loved by residents and staff alike. Bosco is affectionate and responsive without being needy. Indoors he is gentle and mellow: outdoors he is as high energy as anyone would want a dog to be. He loves running around our acres at breakneck speed, and has successfully kept the voracious deer population out of my garden this entire year.

We are awaiting the results of OFA studies of Bosco's hips and elbows,(pre-limb x-rays showed "good"). Bosco, a Vimo vom Fiemereck grandson and Neumann's Jim great-grandson, will be offered for stud to selected females early in 2002. Bosco is good for improving drives, pigment, and size. Bosco stands 24" at the shoulder.

We also have Godiva, a Michaela/Boss puppy.
