Ok so I left my house at like 5:30 with my friend Erica because the show started at 7:30 and I was going to meet Dawn there. Then on the way to Web Theatre my cell phone started ringing and I couldn't answer it or I would've swerved off the road at the time. So I checked my voicemail and it was Dawn saying she couldn't make it. I was so sad. I really wanted to meet that girlie!
So then I get to the show and pick up my pass (thanks Marty) and go in and meet my friend Mike and his sister Lindsay. and hang out until the show starts and then Flipp came on and they were sorta interesting but it was too much theatrics and stuff so I didn't really like it. My outlook is that if you really have great music you don't need rope lights, flashy costumes, make up, cereal, and choreography to entertain the crowd. plus they brought some girl onstage and had her show her boobs which was rather gross because they were pierced all around.
So after them I was excited cause then I'd finally get to see Mayfield Four again after 2 years of waiting. I worked my way up to the front and asked this one girl if she'd scoot over and I told her I'd move after Mayfield Four got off the stage. She was nice and let me up front. So I was spreading the word about Mayfield Four. Then they get on stage and blow the place away!
Set list was like (sorry if I can't remember it exactly) Backslide, Eden, Lyla, High, Flately's Crutch, Loose Cannon, and Sick & Wrong. Which kicked ass but I really wanted at least one old song plus it should've been a longer list hehehe Mayfield Four should headline! So anyway here's me singing along to every song and screaming my head off taking pictures and ten the security guards just have to be mean don't they! They told me to put away my camera and tried to take it from me. No way they were getting it! They made me put one down so then I just pulled out the other one! Then they got really mad so I was like fine if you shut up and let me enjoy the show I'll put my camera away! Show was awesome!!! Zia beat so hard on his drums I thought they'd break!! hehehe The crowd really seemed to love Loose Cannon! I know I lost control during that one!!
After their set Myles came and grabbed my hand and then Marty came and jumped down and gave me a hug and a kiss!! So all 4 of us went outside and sat around for a while and then saw Marty and talked to him for a bit, and then Myles came out and when I introduced myself he says "You're THE Jordan!" hahahaha I was just thinking oh no what has he heard hahaha then Zia came outside too. (This is getting really long sorry.)
Then Dawn called me! Good timing cause then Marty walked over and I handed the phone over to him. He brought all 4 of us backstage and onto the bus. We all sat in the back and hung out for a while and Marty was teasing me about my car when Myles was right there and I was trying to shoosh him hahaha it was too funny. Then I ran back to my car to get the cinnabons before the guys had to leave. I hope they were alright cause them things were in my car in the Arizona heat during the show, and I'd hate to disappoint the guys. So I came back with the buns and said goodbye and drove home listening to Second Skin. That show Rocked sooo hard!!! Thanks for reading this!
update: LOL they loved the Cinnabons oh yeah and I think poor Alessandro is addicted now...
