Bardock was the Sayian race's most powerful low level warrior. He and his team, Torrah, Fasha, Borgis, and one other guy, conquered planets Freza's, the Sayians' boss, elites couldn't touch. And it is said that Bardock was the one who discovered how to make an artificial full moon
Bardock's life changed after he and his teamed conquered planet Kanasa. The last of the planet's inhabitants gave Bardock the ability to read minds and see the future, so he could see the horror of his end like the Kanasians had to.
Bardock's new gift allowed him to see the destruction of his home planet, Vegeta, at the hands of Freza. After some of Freza's goons killed Bardock's team, he tried to warn the other Sayians about their coming destruction. None of them listened to him. After seeing visions of his baby son, Kakarot, as a grown man and a powerful warrior, Bardock decides to try and stop Freza alone. He is killed by the same energy ball Freza launches to destroy the planet. His last vision is of his son defeating Freza.
Bardock was a loyal friend and brave fighter, who, like many of his descendants, loved to fight and couldn't resist a challenge. He wasn't much of a father until just before he died. He wouldn't even hold his youngest son before he was sent to Earth.
Bardock is the father of Radditz and Goku, grandfather of Gohan and Goten, and great grandfather of Pan.
