Deirdre is the daughter of King Conhabar and heir to the throne of Kells. This girl is no miss priss of a princess. She’s a hard-hitting warrior who can really kick butt. And she’s always willing to risk it all for her friends, family, and people.
Deirdre is armed with the Mystic Whirlwind Crossbow that she earned when she and her fellow knights passed the test of the little people of Tir Na Nog. This weapon puts the air at her command. By defeating the Lightning Bat of Temra, she earned special Mystic Armor.
Deirdre is, usually, but can be pretty rough when she gets ticked off. She’s an excellent leader, intelligent, resourceful, brave, loyal, unselfish, and has a great deal of respect and love for her father. She is also an expert at both the harp and with the sword. She has a strong bond with each of the Mystic Knights, but her bond with Rohan is the strongest. The young man she once thought to be beneath her she is now in love with.
Deirdre’s kindness help with the Temra warrior Lugad over to the side of Kells and help Rohan defeat the evil Queen Mave once and for all. The war between Kells and Temra has been over for some time now. So, it seems, is Deirdre’s career as a Mystic Knight.
