Jerri (also known as Juri) may seem like an odd duck, but she's as good a Digimon Tamer as one can be.
Jerri is one of Takato's classmates, who didn't care much for Digimon until she saw Guillmon. Then, all she wanted was to be a Tamer like Takato. Jerri's wish came true when she got her own Digivice and Digimon partner, Leomon.
During her time in the Digital World, Jeri gained courage and learned how to get tough and act quickly when need be. Sadly, her time with her partner was cut short when he was killed by Belezzemon. The loss of Leomon cast Jerri into deprestion and despair, making it easy for the evil D-Reaper to capture her and clone her.
The D-Reaper looked into Jeri's mind to learn about humans while Jeri's clone went back to the real world in Jerri's place andmade it possible for the D-Reaper to enter it. Jerri remained the D-Reaper's prisoner and a prisoner of her own grief, until Calumon talked her out of it. She regained her courage and hopefullness and was able to use her digivince to break out of her imprisonment.
After the D-Reaper was defeated, Jerri went back to living as a happy-go-lucky kid, who plays with a sock puppet and lives with her father, step mother, and brother. She stil has a good heart and forgave Belezemon for killing Leomon just before he was wisked back to the Digital World.
Jeri is sort of a happy go lucky kid, who is kind, gentle, and brave when she needs to be.
