Trini is the original Yellow Ranger. When she was chosen by Zordon to protect the Earth against Ritta Repulsa, she was a little doubtful that she and her friends could do the job. But her doubts were soon erased when she went into action for the first time and discovered that nothing the forces of evil could ever throw at them could ever bring down the Power Rangers.
Trini controlled the Sabertooth Tiger Dinozord and later the Griffin Thunder Zord to battle the forces of evil. Personality wise, Trini is smart, carring, and willing to go the extra mile for her friends. She was also Billy's translator before he stopped talking science lingo and started speaking American. But although Trini is known to be gentle, anybody who's ever messed with her will tell you that she can take out any opponent with her kung fu skills.
Trini's Ranger days ended when she was chosen to go to Switzerland for the Teen Peace Conference. She passed her powers on to Aisha and was never seen on Power Rangers again.
