Rodney's Ramblings
Finally, brothers, we instructed you how to live in order to please God, as in fact you are now living. Now we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus to do this more and more. For you know what instructions we gave you by the authority of the lord Jesus. I Thessalonians 4:1 (NIV)
In this letter to the church of Thessalonica, Paul is giving them some encouragement. He assures them that he can see how they are now living and that they are living according to what they have been taught. However, he also encourages them to keep trying harder and harder or more and more to improve.
That is my message for you as well. I am very proud about the way many of you have been encouraging one another lately and also ecouraging me. Thank you. But i want you to keep it up.
This month we have experienced a large amount of growth. We have averaged over twenty for Wednesday and Sunday night and 14-15 for prayer breakfast for the past few weeks. If we want God to continue blessing us then we continue to follow His commands found in His word. Real growth doesn't lie in the numbers but in our hearts. Do you see yourself growing? I hope so...
Pray for our youth group. Pray for each other specifically. You will se results...
