My Idea Of A Good: Video Game!
With "Mario and Sonic at the Olympics" and "Super Smash Bros. Brawl" having Mario and Sonic duke it out I thought it would be perferct so "My idea of a good video game" is Sega vs Nintendo in a massive ring of action. Think of it like this. There sits a 4 corner ring in the middle of the arena. The crowd (mixed with characters from Sega and Nintendo games, heck lets add your custom Mii characters also) is going wild. An explosion from the entrance shows a man in suspenders enter the arena. He is dressed in red and blue with a yellow cape. He runs to the ring and jumps up in the air landing in the middle of the ring. He climbs up the corner post of the ring and points to the crowd encouraging them to roar and cheer. He then throws of his cape and prepares for battle. The announcer in all this calls out his name over the arena and the crowd goes wild when they hear the name "Mario"! But it doesn't stop there. They've teamed up before but know they go one on one in the squared ring. He runs down to the ring with blurring speed and somersaults into the middle of the ring. He then begins to run around the ring waving at the crowd and grinning. The announcer calls out his name and the crowd goes wild again! "Coming to the ring, Sonic the Hedgehog!"
This is just for added effect but imagine a wrestling game with Sega and Nintendo characters. Outside the ring we find random objects for battle from alot of the games in the companies. You could have 1 on 1 battles, Tag Team battles or all out Rumbles in the ring. With all the random entrances you could have for Tag Team characters it would be awesome to see how they enter togethor. Imagine NiGHTS and Pit flying around the ring or Kirby walks in alone but then spits out a plastic ball with Aiai from Super Monkey Ball contained in it! This would be awesome to see!
Above is a list of some the characters that could be included but this could change. I just think this game would be huge and fun. Nintendo is familar with making wrestling games and making it into something big would be great. There could be some great ideas for special matches. Sonic is already tied in with Sonic now we need to see more. Maybe one day would could even see a Mario and Sonic side scrolling game or how about a Mario and Sonic cartoon. This is something that could make Sega and Nintendo rich!

Fighting games are really starting to lose alot of steam so "My idea of a good video game" is Mortal Kombat: Bloodfest or Mortal Kombat: Gorefest. The super smash bros. series has been a hit and I think other games should learn from this. Imagine Mortal Kombat characters in a party fighting setting like the Smash Bros. series. The ideas could be great and with the open ended arena it could have alot of awesome ways of killing off your opponent. Hey, it's just an idea!
My Idea Of A Good: Movie!
As usual video games get a bad rap for making bad movies but if directors where to sit down and acctually think then they would find gems for the theatrical experience. Imagine a movie surround around a soldier in space. This soldier stays behind a helmet throughtout the whole movie. The soldier fights strange alien creatures to save the world. But what makes this movie intriguing is that this soldier is gritty, rough, quick and tough. Much like the game you think through the whole movie this soldier is of male origin but towards the end of the movie we find that the soldier is a female by the name of Samus and the movie is called Metroid. I'm sure alot of Metroid fans remember the first time they beat the game and find out that samus was female. It was major for several reasons.
You didn't like that idea? OK, then how about my next idea! Just put the image of the movie "300" in your head and mix some "Matrix" style action and what do you get? You get a great movie with a great character. God Of War deserves to look like this. Imagine Kratos doing Matrix moves with his chains off the gods and the walls. Now imagine all this shot in the style of 300 and you would get a spectacular movie. Don't you agree? Or not?
