Christma$ time, Oh what a
glorious time of the year…for the stores and corporations that is. They take advantage of this time of giving
and have commercialized Christma$ beyond the point of what it was intended to be. If you are a religious Christian, not like
myself, it is celebrating the birth of Christ.
Now, Christ goes for over $100.00 in the stores in some cases and what’s
worse is people buy it. The manger is
now for sale and they profit by exploiting the Lord in vain and taking
advantage of every blind Christian out there who believes that having a manger
under their tree will get them into their eternal resting place. But there is no room for your manger because
now the tree is packed with gifts and more gifts because we have all succumb to
the commercialism of Christmas. The
spirit of Christmas, a time of togetherness, is now a time for rampant lust and
disillusionment. Bing Crosby sang about a “white Christmas” while I’m sure what
was in his eyes was a “Green Christmas” because his records, eight tracks,
CD’s, tapes, etc. made a killing. This
is the time of the year to make money.
You invest in Mattel and toy companies, and they have great increases,
and all the fat cats roll in their bathtubs of green as they prosper off our
blindness. Although, we see it and we
put more into it! It is illogical yet we must continue to give material gifts
and desecrate this holy-day (holiday).
Think about it, why does Christmas begin in November? Because it’s to sell and make money $$$!
On the other spectrum, we need
to think about the big red man who robs us blind each year! Every 24th of December, this
monstrous, inhumane being manipulates your families, brainwashes your children,
and robs you blind for every hard earned penny. He then pawns the baby Jesus you placed in the manger and laughs
all the way to the bank as he capitalizes off this Christian day of rejoice.
How outrageous to twist and
turn this one day of the year, and turn it into a green-eyed frenzy. Popular toys are being fought over by grown
adults to please their children because the big red man gave them the green
light to receive that item even if they weren’t “good”. How hypocritical. Naughty or nice doesn’t even apply anymore. What happened to that lump of coal? “Wow, Santa gave me a piece of compressed
dead plants that I can burn as energy.”
I mean, if I had a coal furnace that would be a great gift, more
valuable than any popular toy or video game!
This
murderous time of the year, for your pocket books, doesn’t have to be this
way. Don’t let these toy companies and
the jolly red man who robs you blind push you around anymore! Take back what has been stolen from you!
The Pope and the Catholic church will continue to disease this land with their lies and propaganda on this day of "celebration" of the birth of Christ as they pull the covers over your eyes. They flaunt their power through this one time of the year that capitalizes off the high spirit of young and old alike. As you give into their falsehood, the Pope prospers off of your weakness and each year he spreads the vile cancer masked as "holiday spirit" to make you capitulate to the corporations who, like the Pope and the Catholic Church, rape your pocket book and invest in their own lustful indulgence and manic greed. This one day of the year, masked as a time of peace, love, and joy, is not so at all and never exists. Still there is suffering and war, famine and pestilence, and a heightened greed and omnipotence of those who seemingly have the world in their grasp. I may never eat such fine gourmet meals as the Pope, or own as many rolexes and mercedes as he does, but I will never partake in his scheme and I will never surrender to Christmas, the birth of profit, lust, and greed.
