A Lenten Prayer
Jesus,
by the power of you Spirit,
Who lives within each of us,
help us to be brave as we die to our
selfish ways and as we rise to live
more selflessly and generously.
Free us from counting the cost of
love. Help us to continue to love
those who reject us for doing the
right thing. You are our God, the
One Who has given us victory over
evil and death. You are the One
Who will be with us as we pay the
price for loving. Teach us to love.
