The Heathrow Express, a high-speed rail link which is the fastest mode of transport between Heathrow and Paddington (central London), being only 15 minutes. The trains that run the Heathorw Express service are able to travel at a speed of 100 mph, departing from Paddington every 15 minutes. A full service was offered from the 25th of May, 1998. The project cost £350 million being the venture between BAA and BR. Heathrow Express Ltd (train operating company) operate and introduced the Heathrow Express service.
