Getting Started: When you get into the chat you will notice little boxes at the bottom. "Status" - "EBWF" - "Chanserv". There is a green light by Chanserv, that is because that is the "active" window. Please click in the "EBWF" box to get into that room. The top row of boxes will always be things that help you such as Status, Chanserv, and Nickserv. The bottom row will be the rooms that you are in. Registering your Nickname: To register your nickname, first be sure you have the nickname you want by typing /nick yournicknamehere If the nickname is already registered to someone, then you will have a message sent to you saying that one is registered, and indentify yourself or change your nick. If it isn't you then use the code again and try another nickname. To register it once you have the right nick type: /msg nickserv register yourpassword youre-mail Using your registered Nickname: After logging into the chat and using the nick change code to change to your nick name you need to type this to log in. /msg nickserv identify yourpassword Joining another Room: To join another room simply type: /join #roomname Room Help: Need help with a room? Type: /msg chanserv help Nickname Help /msg nickserv help Rules: Just listen to the moderators and do what they say. They do have the power to kick and ban you out of the room. If it happens, don't complain, because it won't get you anywhere. |
