June 3rd: The Car lives!

June 3rd: Today was a good day. Lol. I went outside today and decided that I was going to fix that radiator support if it killed me. So I hooked it up to my dad's Ford Ranger and just went crazy. It pulled out enough to fit the radiator and fan in it. The car started after it died a few times and I moved it up to the top of my driveway and parked it. And then it went into the garage so it wouldnt get rained on.

Here are some pics of what the support looked like after my little "fix"

Not much difference in it, but it left me with enough room to put in the radiator and fan.

This is how the all the parts went together. The car started and I actually drove it. I think my dad's exact words at witnessing this were "Is that thing supposed to do that??"

And here it sat for a day after its first testdrive (up my driveway).

June 21st: Me and my dad took the Mustang out to some trees and pulled the impact absorbers apart so the radiator support would straighten out. It did and we took out the remaining impact absorber, so now we can line up some front parts when i have enough money to get them. I will have pics back up here soon for all this crazyness.
