Well first of all, if you haven't already, I strongly suggest you read the Removing Intake Manifold section.  Or well I guess if you have small quadruple jointed hands you may just want to bypass that section and join the circus.  Anyway, I had to take the manifold off to get to the rear row of spark plugs on the back of the engine.  There was just no way my hands and a ratchet were getting back there and coming back in one piece.

Replacing spark plugs is pretty simple and doesn't really merit a whole page explaining how to do it.  Basically grab your deep 5/8" socket, put it on an extension and then go to work.  My only caution is that you take care to not pull on the wire itself when you take out the plug wires.  Grab the larger rubber square that the wires go into, that could save you some money and trouble in the future.  Also I have been told that applying a very small amount of oil to the threads on the plug is also a good idea so later on you can get the plugs out without any trouble.

Another thing I want to point out....If you find oil in your plug wells check your valve cover gaskets and consider replacing those as well.  Basically the gaskets will get old and crack and they will allow oil to drip into the plug wells.  I found oil in my wells, well 4 out of the 6 wells.  I neglected to check my gaskets, the two times my manifold was off, but I plan on it soon enough, and will probably end up replacing them.
