Introduction:
Yes, Finland it's a Scandinavian Country... Yes, there 're Black metal bands like in others scandinavian countries... But Finland it's surely the only country to make a mix between traditional black and violent thrash (yes, i'm thinking about Impaled Nazarene)... That was innovative...
Finland is a young country into Black Metal; Beherit (with this incredible history about Wild Rags...) was not really a old band (to compare with Mayhem, Morbid, etc...) but they have a "old" sound witch make their style "True"...
Impaled Nazarene is also a important band... with their special style (like it or hate it!)... That have influenced many bands across the world...
So, Finland have many youngs bands which are into Melodic black metal and dealing with Norsce Mythologica... Only some bands (like Horna) respect the tradition of Raw Black metal...
I don't like very much melodic black metal bands, But concerning Finnish bands, I must admit that Finnish Black Metal scene is UNDERGROUND and have a real integrity !!!!!!!
Yes, I presume that Norway black metal scene don't like very much others scandinavian scene, but I think they must take example on Finland for maturity and loyalty to Underground.
