Fading Fast

I have vowed to never love again,
But it seems like home to me.
The happiness and utter joy
Drown out the acheful pains and
silent suffering.

For he who cannot return these
Intense emotions, will never hold anything,
except his own drafty heart.

I wish to place that on a pedestal
For the whole world to see
What happens when you cannot
Find it in your heart to love me.
