Electronic Voice Phenomena
Also known as E.V.P., Electronic Voice Phenomena is where a cassette recorder or digital recorder can be used as a communication device during an investigation. Using this technology it is possible to capture disembodied voices and sounds.
During an investigation, background audio is recorded and later analyzed with computer software that enhances both above, below, and inside the human vocal range to pick up sounds and speech that could usually not be heard by human ears. We feel that EVP is one of the most tangible forms of data produced in a paranormal investigations/research, and we consider EVP recordings to be valuable research tools. Below we have listed some of our recorded EVP for your listening pleasure!

During a private home investigation in Nicholasville,KY, we obtainted this EVP. You will hear Josh say “Okay, Josh, Roger, and Phillip are going up to the landing…We‘re gonna…” Right before Josh says “we‘re gonna“. You can hear something breathe. It is still going on while Josh is talking.
During the same investigation as above, we obtained this EVP on the landing in the home. This was recorded while nobody was talking or moving around. After listening to approx. 2 minutes of silence, we captured this EVP. We believe it is saying “Don’t move”.
During the same investigation as above. We conducted an EVP session wher we were trying to get the spirit to move an object close to us. In the recording you can Josh say “Please?…Is that the magic word?” After he asks that question you can hear a voice say "yes".
During the same investigation in Nicholasville,KY, we obtained this EVP in the basement. Josh was trying to get the spirit to flip the light switch in the closet. In the recording you can hear Josh say “That’s not asking a lot.” After he says that you can hear a voice say "nope".
While investigating the Rohs Opera House, Josh and other members were on the balcony. Roger had a group on the third floor balcony. Roger and the group were hearing voices and other noises. Roger asked Josh over the radio if we were below them in the Ballroom. You hear Josh ask "In the ballroom?" Right after that you can hear someone or something whisper during the conversation.
During a public overnight investigation at the Rohs Opera House we conducted an EVP session on the third floor balcony. When we asked the children to come out and play, we obtained this EVP. We believe its a childs voice saying/singing "123".

EVP during an investigation at a private residence in Cynthiana,KY. Josh asked "Are you an attention getter?". We feel that it is a male voice saying "yes".
During a training session at the Rohs Opera House, we were up in the third floor balcony asking questions. In the background you can hear Josh ask "Did something bad happen in this room?" Not only did we capture a response to the question, but at the end of the recording you can hear a man laughing.
During the same training session above, Josh asked if anyone wanted to speak. We captured this response.
During an Overnight Tour/Ghost Hunt that we held at the Rohs Opera House, Josh and approx 10 other people were up in the third floor balcony asking questions. Josh took note of a passing car outside then right after that we obstained this unusual recording. THIS IS A VERY LOUD NOISE.
Tammy was in the lobby of the Rohs Opera House asking questions. In between her questions you can hear responses.
On the stage behind the screen at the Rohs Opera House is a hot spot for activity. So we decided to see if we could document a temperature drop with the Ambient Air Thermometer. We asked the spirit to drop the temperature down 10 degrees. It dropped 10 degrees in approx 3 minutes!
In the recording you can here Josh asking for a temperature drop. Roger was joking around saying "And maintain that 'til September please." At the end of the recording you can hear a voice say something. We believe it is saying "Come here".
We left a recorder running in the third floor balcony at the Rohs Opera House. Everyone in the building was in the lobby area at the time. We captured these disembodied footsteps.
During an investigation at Blue Licks Battlefield. Josh aked how many people were present. We obtained this EVP.
During a preliminary investigation at a private residence/place of business we captured this EVP. We heard a loud slamming noise downstairs.Group member Josh asks if "Is that a spirit giving us a sign?". After he asks that you can hear a female crying.
