PT 109

PT109, dimension 240mm X 98mm X 74mm is powered by one of the largest steam engines, size 92mm X 48mm ever fitted in recent times to a Pop-Pop boat. PT109 Large and small comes in two colors, Military Green and bright yellow each.

PT boats were known as Patrol Torpedo Boats. They were also known as mosquito boats. Three engines, each powered them generating a total of 5500 horsepower. They were armed to teeth with two twin 50 caliber machine gun plus 30 caliber machine gun, a 20 millimeter anti-aircraft gun with a 37 millimeter cannon plus four torpedoes and a hoard of depth charges, a smoke screen generator, guns and rifles along with 40 millimeter gun at the rear deck. PT109 had its most celebrated crew in Mr. J.F.Kennedy who went on to become President of U.S.A.
