Tekin's Rebel Reverse speed Control is a moderately priced speed control, that offers some of the same advantages many higher priced models have. At first glance the speed control is nothing fancy. Hey, I'm not looking to win any shelf shows here, it's what's under the shell that matters.

The Rebel came with everything needed to install, motor plugs and standard battery plugs already in place. I mounted the rebel on a Kyosho Optima Mid to check out its racing qualities. The speed control is very smooth through it's acceleration in part due to a high operating frequency of 2000Hz, and low on resistance of .004 x 2ohm. Most speed controls in its price range are at about 1250hz and .01 just to give you an idea. Using a 16t motor we ran it through three battery packs to test the Temp., after the third pack I noticed a slight change in warmth nothing to worry about. Tekin's Rebel gets the thumbs up from us!
