Note for February 10, 02: - This was the second day of a two day course with the ACC. The canyon was really busy but from what I have heard it is a really popular waterfall for climbers. We managed to get there around 9:00 A.M. giving us a spot on the easier part of the canyon. Judging by the number of cars in the parking lot we were unsure if we'd have a spot in the canyon to climb at all. We went anyway and had a great day out.

Dates Climbed- February 10, 02

Location - Banff National Park

February 10, 02- This is some of the group putting on our gear. From left to right it is Ian(Different Ian), Bob, me, and Bruce (trip leader).

February 10, 02- Like I said, it was a really busy day in the canyon so there was not much variety as far as let's set up ropes all over the canyon. We pretty much stayed on the same route all day.

February 10, 02- Climb around again.

February 10, 01- This is me (the one on the right) climbing on the upper part of the canyon. This was the funnest part but I did't think that vertical ice was so tiring on the arms. Maybe I'm just weak...

February 10, 02- Here was some crazy guy showing everybody up. The ice pillars had been falling off by the looks of the canyon floor so it probably wasn't the smartest place to be climbing on.
