Note for April 12, 04: - Colin S. and I scrambled up Squaws Tit today in perfect weather. 17*C with a slight breeze and blue skies. The route is snow free except for a little near the summit nipple. 3.5 hours up, 2 hours down. Great views of Temple, Hungabee, and Assiniboine. From the drainage at Harvie Heights we followed intermingling animal trails eventually leading to the Squaws ascent slopes , followed by the ridge which is easier than it looks. A great day in the mountains with interesting srambling.

Dates Summited -April 12,04

Elevation -2,500m

Elevation Gain - 1200m

Location - Canmore

This is looking at the ridge after you get above treeline. From the road, you have to bushwack up to the base of the peak which takes 30 mins. From the base, hike up steep slopes for 90 mins which leads you to this ridge.

Looking at the ridge and the summit nipple. The ridge is slightly exposed at a few places.

Colin scrambling up the last gully directly below the summit. Lots of big holds.

Enjoying the summit with great spring weather.

Digital zoom of Mt. Assiniboine still 50Km. away.

Looking towards Banff. Temple is just right of center, with Hungabee to the left.

Back at the car.
