Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the first ever Bobby Ratliff and Sonny Mack Report!!! Bobby Ratliff is not here tonight so This is Sonny Mack coming to you with the report from my hometown of Memphis getting anxious for the PPV of the UTMWA. "Redemption" will hit the Pyramid, Friday night, June 9, 2001. What a card, what a card! But before we talk about Redemption let's talk about about the events that lead up to this great card. The UTMWA is celebrating it's first month in the professional wrestling business. Kris Jones and William "The Thrill" Johnson opened it's doors on the first of May and had it's very first televised event on the 21st of May in San Jose, California. This show was soon to be known as Monday Massacre. On Monday Night, we witness all of the founding members of the UTMWA in action. We seen Da Link become the first victor in the UTMWA history with a hard fought victory over "Main Event" Brad Lightson. This ended a heated feud that was transferring through the weeks leading up to this match. Also on Monday night we seen Da Link's tag team partner "The FROzen One" in action as the Frost battled with Kris Jones little nephew Spider. Well these two battled well but at the end it was The Frost who came out with the hard-earned win. Spider is not doing well in the UTMWA as far as partipation but in the ring he is truely one sick individual. That is what I enjoy the most. All my props go out to Enigma and Ixon for giving us a great main event on last Monday. Enigma came out the victor in this match. Ixon was known around the world as a real hard individual. Ixon has been in many different feds and he has just destroyed every wrestler and owner in each one he has ever been in. But on Monday, his life belonged to the "Engimatic" One. During the match Warrick Hill came down and interferred. Ixon had just put Enigma on his back when he looked to the outside. Ixon was going for the cover. He then look to Warrick Hill who is just then made his way outside of the ring. Ixon gives Warrick Hill the middle finger and gives Enigma a standing side kick. Ixon then goes for another cover but Warrick Hill steps on the ropes. Ixon gets off Enigma and goes to the ropes. Warrick grabs a chair and throws it in the ring. Ixon catches Warrick Hill and throws him into the ring also. The ref tried to break it up but was smacked across the skull with a steel chair. Then Warrick Hill and Ixon started fighting. Enigma came to his sences and awaited for one of them to lurk to him. Warrick threw Ixon into Enigma and Enigma finished him off with the "Enigmatic" for the win.
On Monday Massacre, we first heard about the "UTMWA" World Title Tournament that was going to be held at "Redemption" business. On Thursday Terror we found out the first couple of contenders who were scheduled to appear in the tournament. Here is the statement no one will ever forget. "First of all, I would like to welcome all of you people here to the UTMWA!!! I know this is our first show but this will definally not be the end. Also let me just say that I am going to be announcing and answering some of your questions later on in the night. But until I can, I have three statements to tell you people ot there and the millions of folks nationwide. Number one, the UTMWA has just became better. Not because of the talent. But because I have finally found the three men who are going to bring the UTMWA pain. Now I will not pronounce the name of these three men. But between now and Thursday Terror, I will be watching all of the wrestlers. Now the second statement is concering Redemption. Redemption is on June 9, 2001. There will be a tournament to decide the new and first ever UTMWA World Champion. Now I know this is a big feat but the only way you will be able to go for this title is to ....well....show up. The second thing is that this will be in Memphis. Now the third and final thing.... concering the other titles.... There are 17 people right now. There are 4 titles to acheive. Well we know 1 are going to be determined in a tournament. But starting next week, matches will start to determine who will be facing who at the PPV for that respectful title. But be advise now, the winner at the PPV can be a possibility of having two titles. I know this might be early but you will hear more about his, either Thursday, Saturday or next Monday." So with that we found out the first couple of opponents would be Da Link, Seth Acid, Enigma and The Frost. But that would change later on. On Tuesday of this week Will and Kris discussed the eight men that would take part in this tournament. We later found out that the eight men were going to be Spider, Seth Acid, Enigma, Hardkore, "Tha Showstoppa" Steve Wilson, Sage Armstrong, "Main Event" Brad Lightson and Mr. Sexy On Terror, we crowned our first Champion. "The Enigmatic" Enigma became the first Youngbloodz Champion of the world with a win over Warrick Hill. Shortly after that lost Warrick Hill vanished from the UTMWA. But he didn't leave empty-handed. He was met with another sick and dark individual much like himself in Seth Acid. On Thursday Massacre he proved to everyone to not take him for granted as he destroyed Lethal. Enigma and Seth Acid carried their war from Monday Massacre to the next Monday Massacre. Yalking about stalking and punishment, two guys have been experencing that for the longest. Red Scare and Hardkore have been at each others back since the beginning of the first Monday Massacre. These two never had ever got along and personaly I am happy to see it. After two weeks of just brutalizing each other night in and night out, VP Will stated that these two will battle it out in a "Last Chance in Hell" Steel-cage match in which the odds were high. The loser whould pack his bags and leave and the winner would leave L.A with the Hardcore title. Well Hardkore won the brutal and vile contest. This fight was so intense it was only fit for a PPV. UTMWA Contracts are staring to run thin for the serval wrestlers: Spider, Mr. Sexy and the "Main Event" Brad Lightson. There has been rumors going around that Kingpin and Killa Kali from the ICWF is coming to the UTMWA. Personally, I will enjoy these two because they are from ICWF and I know you had to be tough as hell to survive in there. So come on, we will make your ass famous. Now since I got that out of the way it is time for my predictions. Well, I have to get this out. These are my predictions. So these are just my thoughts. First I have to talk about the grudge match between Titan 3 and "Northern Excellence" Shane Skyler. Both of these people also came from the ICWF and I will expect both of these people to give it their best. But in the end, I have to say that Titan 3 will win. Titan 3 is the one man who I really beleive can take this fed by storm but with names like Da Link, "Showstoppa", Sage Armstrong and the powerful but quick Enigma, he will have a tough time accomplishing this feat. Anywhoo, this is the tournament lineup
Like I stated: Not to oversell or to be too shill-like, but I think this show will provide its share of surprises. Until Next Week. (Oh Shit! Mashed Potatoes and Beans again!?)
