PowerPet Adventure (PPA for short) is a virtual pet game. It's based on random events, so playing it just once won't give you the full game. There are dark PowerPets and hero PowerPets, based on a decision you make early in the game. There are also a couple minigames, they are Bomb War and Fire Escape. Here's a screenshot of the title screen (it's not just LCD colors, although the title makes it look that way, but it's actually in color):
