Jellyfish Washed up on the Beach

Here is a jellyfish that washed up near our usual break. We were going to go surfing this day, but because of the wind, this little guy and the fact that we saw bait fish in the breaks of the waves we decided against it. This little bugger is probably about a foot across here. But before he was washed up and died, his tentacles where way longer than that. This is one of the many dangers of surfing. A couple weeks ago there was a shark scare and many people where rescued by helicoptor while on their boards. The news clips where amazing. If I ever find them on the net I will put up a link.
