Lizzy - the Gecko

Here is a sweet little lizzard that we found and decided to make our pet. We didn't know much about lizzards, but at the Currumbin Sanctuary we did some research and found out that Lizzy was a Gecko. Geckos loose there tails when they are stressed or trying to escape predators. We also found out that he eats grass and bugs. But at this point it was too late. We came home from Currumbin and Lizzy was a goner. Sorry, little bugger. (Those shells in there are snails from Byron. Snails can go dormant for a long time. When we put in water for Lizzy they came back to life, but they too passed from lack of algae to feed on, we presume. I guess we don't have green thumbs.)
