Trolleys Trolleys Everywhere

But not trolleys like in San Francisco. Trolleys are shopping carts in Australia, and you can find them anywhere on the streets of the Gold Coast. We get around, not by trolley, but by bus and cab. Actually I asked a cab driver once why there where so many trolleys around the Gold Coast. She got somewhat upset. She said, "It was a good idea a long time ago, when you would put a quarter in and get a trolley to cart your stuff around. However anymore they are just used by kids who wheel each other around after partying at the bars too much. It's dangerous." On another note at the local grocery store Wollies (or Woolworths) there is a sign which reads "No Trolleys On the Lift" - translation "No Shopping Carts On the Elevator."
