Come Back to my Home Away from Home ^_^
Hey This is my page on how to do the Bow Stall if u have any questions just ask... ^_^. The main idea of the bow stall is to go up onto the bow of your boat and stall for 4 or 5 seconds Experts can do this for about a Minute or so.
First there is 2 ways to get up.... only 1 of which I can do, So I'll tell U that method of getting up. It's called "The Plow", to Execute this move first start paddling quickly lean forward a little as your bow starts to pearl paddle a little harder and lean farther forward finally the wake you've made from all that paddling will push that last bit up.(Watch out not to paddle too hard or you'll end up flipping and rolling ^_^).
Stopin the momentum (eeeeeeerrrrrrrrrccccccchhhhhhhh)(like car brakes)
From Now u need to stop the flow of momentum forward to do this you should keep you shoulders parelled to the boat or you'll fall to the side that your not parallel with ^_^.Also lean forward just enough so U don't fall over,Stand on your foot pegs or foam blocks or blockhead or whaterver, and Plant a Two Blade brace (its just pretty much putting your paddle in the water and pushing on it).
Staying up
Next the "STALL" part Of the bow stall try to balance your weight between three area's 1:The Bow 2:The Left hand(on paddle 3:The Right Hand(also on paddle) If you can get the hang of balancing, With practice you could probably hold it for a long time.^_^.
