Knuckles the echinda
Knuckles the echidna lives alone on angel island which is land that floats in the skies. Its his duty to protect the master emerald. In SA2 it starts of that a hunter named Rouge the bat tries her luck at steeling the master emerald. But soon as the fight begins Eggman turns up and steels the emerald. Just before he escaped though knuckles smashed the emerald! Now he has to find the pieces of the emerald before Rouge does.....
