NARCOSIS were formed mid `95 with a line up consisting of Tez-bass/vocals,Chris-guitar/vocals and Simon-drums. Through the years NARCOSIS have evolved into the grindcore unit that exists today the present line up consists of Pete-vocals,Chris-guitar,Justin-guitar,John-bass,Simon-drums and Lee-samples/power electronics.
Early 2001 NARCOSIS embarked upon the successfull "Noise Destruction" European Tour with DOWN TO FAIL from Sweden and MY OWN LIES/STACK from Germany. NARCOSIS have also played many shows with various UK grind/HC/power violence/death/black metal bands including THE KEVORKIAN SOLUTION,TANGAROA.VEHEMENCE,MOROSE,GOREROTTED,CHARGER,PARADE OF ENEMIES and many others.NARCOSIS have also played with many touring European and American bands such as TOTAL FUCKING DESTRUCTION(USA),INSULT(Netherlands),UNKIND(Finland),GROINCHURN(S.Africa),CONVERGE(USA).Please check out the links page for various links to other bands.
Mid 2001 NARCOSIS recorded the debut LP/CD album(check out the new releases for further details/merchandise)for BALOWSKI RECS(Netherlands)wich features 10 varied tracks of harsh grind recorded at "Framework studios" in Birmingham UK and produced by Paul"Bagg"Siddens(NAPALM DEATH,CATHEDRAL,IOD,). Due to be released in early/mid 2002 BALOWSKI#10.
Late 2001 DEATHSTILL RECS(London)released the eagerly anticipated NARCOSIS/MOROSE split 7",DEATHSTILL #002.
Future plans are a short tour of Scotland(check gig guide for details)and a European tour with CHARGER(UK). Then to return to the studio to record a split 10" with THE KEVORKIAN SOLUTION(UK)BALOWSKI#12. Shows with MELT BANANA(Japan),BURNT BY THE SUN(USA),PHOBIA(USA) and RAGING SPEEDHORN(UK)are soon to be conformed.
