~ Vacation Tyme 2003 ~

Vacation tyme came so quickly this year. We decided to head over to Sunny Southern California for some tyme away from everyone. We had a pretty good tyme, altho it wasn't very sunny. It rained the first two days we were there, and then it was just overcast, cold, and ugly out, but we made the best of it!

Rainy Day #1: DisneyLand in the rain. Not highly recommended! See all the raindrops hitting the water by the swan. It was like that ALL damn day long!

Spent day #2 in San Diego. Went over to GP Motorcycles ; had to get the 748 a new brake caliper. Pretty cool shop. Caters totally to European motorcycles.

Day #3 was back to DisneyLand . Weather looked better and it wasn't raining, so that was good. We ended up riding the rides over at California Adventures for the day.

Candy corn plants at Disney's California Adventures ; A giant watermelon display in A Bug's Life Land.

Day #5 was spent half sleeping in the hotel room (hehe. We're on vacation dammit!), and the other half out at Venice Beach with Steve and his brother Alex. No pics for that. Sorry.

Day #6: Went to Universal Studios with Steve and Alex. Had a total blast!!!

Day #7 was spent up in Hollywood. We headed up North to visit Paul's Uncle John, who works as a VP at Paramount , for the movie poster department. While at Paramount , we were able to get a personal tour thanx to Nic (Uncle John's assistant). Then headed out to Hollywood Blvd. to see the sights and go shopping. Got to see the famous Hollywood sign, and check out all the stars, along with the hand and foot prints of famous peeps.

Day #8 was our last day and we spent it finishing up on shopping and hitting what rides we just HAD to do again.

Tarzan's treehouse ~ The river bed was empty due to refurbishment. (I just thought it looked pretty neat due to no water)
