Learn To Draw

Getting the face right is one of the most difficult parts of drawing anime. Usually they are round and have a pointy chin. Anime people have their features in about the same place as we do, so think:

  • Eyes halfway down the head and about the width of an eye in between them.
  • Nose straight down the center, beginning at the eyes and ending two-thirds down the headof
  • Mouth one-fourth of the way above the chin, or about the height of the mouth down from the nose.

    These are just guidelines, and depending on how the character should look - or personality - you will have to make a few adjustments. Down below are a few examples on how to draw a few characters.
