MORE JEFF NEWS
The following is from rajahwwf.com
The following message was sent out to Jeff Hardy's band, "Peroxygen" mailing list: What's up with Jeff…. "Basically he's getting ready to go to Cincinnati and record an album with the band. That's basically all he's concentrating on right now. I know you've seen it posted about all the Indy promoters and stuff....but he's not doing anything with them wrestling wise He only wants to wrestle for WWE, but for now, he's focusing on the music thing."

MORE JEFF NEWS
The following tidbits come re-written from the Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter. Subscription details and prices can be obtained at pwtorch.com.
Prior to Jeff Hardy’s release from WWE, the company had suspicions for months that he had been suffering from a substance abuse problem that has caused some of his behavioral problems, such as his famous disappearing acts. One source within WWE said that the company knew he had a problem, but could not figure out with what so they just decided to get rid of him. Many feel that Hardy will actually make more money this year by wrestling on the Independent circuit than he would with his old schedule with WWE. So the general feeling is that Hardy’s departure from WWE could come as a good move for his career and hopefully could end up renewing his passion for the sport.

MORE ON JEFF
The latest on Jeff Hardy leaving WWE is that it was a mutual decision between both parties. Hardy was said to be extremely tired for the backstage politics, the road schedule, and poor payoffs. WWE was of course tired of Hardy’s bad attendance and sometimes poor attitude. Everyone close to Hardy seems to think that he has lost a lot of passion for wrestling and many hope that working a much more relaxed schedule on the Independent circuit will help him get it back.

MORE INFO ON JEFF'S RELEASE
Before being released, Jeff Hardy had approached WWE officials twice in the past six months talking about quitting because he wanted to concentrate on his music. Until the mutual release, WWE wanted him to remain with the company because they felt he was crucial to the teenaged female demographic.
