Snowboarding
Recently Nynke and I bought a snowboard. We want to snowboard at Snowworld in Landgraaf and later on the Alps. So the best thing to do is to buy your stuff. That´s what we did and now we have to practise with our boards. Nynke bought a ´Ride´ Vista and I satisfied myself with a ´Salomon´ 450 (see picture). Nynke´s bindings are from ´Head´, mine ´Burton´ and the boots are both from ´Vans´. The planned dates for snowboarding are 9.7.03 and 4.8.03 at Snowworld Landgraaf.
Nynke and I went to Snowworld today (9th July) for a day of riding in the snow. We started at 11.30 AM en I stopped at about 6 PM. I had a bad crash, a mild concussion was the result. I was surprised by a layer of ice at the end of the slope and I hit my head from the back. I have to rest now. Well, Nynke did fine and I tried to board a bit after the crash but I head to stop after a while. I hope 4 August will be a better day for me.
Today (4 August) was a warm day, but inside Snowworld it was cool but not bitter cold. We had a nice day without not much pain. I crashed a few times but nothing worse happened. See the pictures on the picture page.
