CONSERVATION
Sharks are under increasing pressure from hunting and if this doesn’t stop soon we will loose these majestic creatures.
The reason for the hunting of the sharks is because of the increased demand for their fins, an ingredient in the "delicacy" shark fin soup. Sharks are brutally de-finned and then thrown back into the water to die in a cruel and barbaric act.
SHARK DE-FINNING MUST STOP
Visit the Wild Aid Web site and sign their e-petition against this cruel and barbaric treatment of Sharks.
Wild Aid is a conservation organisation committed to the conservation of wild life. It is even supported by several celebrities.

Whale Shark
Theses gentle giants can grow up to 10 m and weigh up to 10 tons but they can easily become sick and die if the mucus on their skins is rubbed off by divers. These sharks are increasingly loosing population and will become extinct if we don't raise awareness of their fragileness and actively start to make sure their numbers increase.
Remember as a diver respect the natural wildlife and look but don't touch. Always keep ample distance between you and the wildlife.
Many accidents occur by mistake when careless divers don't have their equipment secured and it trails on the sea floor wrecking coral that will take years to regenerate.
