THE OLLIE

*This is How You Ollie:

This is one of the most basic trick to do on a skateboard. I will not lie to you it isnt EXACTLY THE EASIEST TRICK but once you get it is easy. Well FIRST I would recomend trying it not moving; try it on a side walk or flat street. You first place your feet as shown in the the photograph*(itis the same foot positioning for regular footed riders). If it is your first time you may feel like you can not balance on the board when standing on it too long. Dont worry about it that is normal(you will get use to it:-) Once you are on it apply pressure to your back foot on the tail and slide your other foot up towards the truck bolt holes near the nose of the board. Then as you lift balance your feet out so they get to about the same level in the air. Let the board and your feet land back down. It will take a wile to get it. Dont worry if you dont get alot of POP(height) it takes time and practice. ***VERY IMPORTANT*** AFTER YOU TRY IT FOR A WILE TRY TO DO IT MOVING. A BIG MISTAKE I made was spending too much time practicing ollieing wile not moving. In the end it took me months to do a good ollie moving. So dont be discouraged just keep trying and learn from my mistakes. Wile you are practicing the ollie you should take breaks and try other tricks(Mabye you can do a shove it or something else not involving to much pop and skill). #####CHECK OUT CHRIS MARTINS PICS TO SEE THE TIP ON HOW TO POP HIGHER LIKE KENNY REED IN THE BACKGROUND. BELIEVE ME YOU WILL WANT TO SEE THESE TIPS THEY REALLY WORK. I USED THEM AND I CAN OLLIE 4 DECK FLAT GROUND, NO RAMP#####
