XTreme Wolverine Season 1 Episode 5: ”Battle Of The Century Part II”

3-From Battle Of The Century Part I, Wolverine and Sabertooth fight. An explosion goes off, and Logan is stabbed. We hear Sabertooth laughing.  

Scene 1: Sabertooth opens the cabin door, and goes inside. He drops Logan, like a sack of potatoes on the ground. “Logan, Logan, Logan. You never learn. *I can’t die. I am immortal.” “Must... kill you! Logan says, struggling to his feet, “I will . . . find a way.” “Don’t fight it Logan, lay down and die!” As Sabertooth speaks, he kicks Logan in the gut, and he falls. He is bleeding badly, and gasping for air.

Opening Credits

Scene 2: Back in New York, Prof. Page is working with Dr. Grey. “Seems good to me professor.” “Yes, good work Valerie.” Suddenly a flash comes from the Professor. He screams in pain and sees flashes of Logan in agony. “Nooooo! Logaaaaan!” he shouts. “What’s wrong Professor?” “It’s Logan. He’s in bad shape. I have to make a call.” He goes to his office.

Scene 3: At the Headquarters of Alpha Flight, the members are training in the battle room. A noise goes off. “Training program has ended,” says the computer. “Whew! What a workout,” says one of them, a short yet stocky guy. “Yes it was Puck,” says the other one, a tall man dressed in black. They go back to their rooms to rest, but are interrupted by a siren. The tall man gets there first, and turns on the screen. Prof. Page is on screen. “How nice to see you Professor. What can I do for you?” “Yes it is Black Bolt, it’s been a while. We have an emergency. Logan is in grave danger!” “What kind of danger?” “I am not sure, he went up there to fight an old nemesis, named Sabertooth.” “That demon!” says Black Bolt. “Yes, he will bring Wolverine to a cabin somewhere in a nearby forest. I am to far away to help him, would you do this one favor for me?” “I am not supposed to make deals like this, . . . but because Logan is an old friend.” “Thank you, please hurry.” “I will assemble a team now,” Black Bolt says, cutting the call off. Puck, and a big man, who looks like a Sasquatch, enter the room. “What’s the emergency?” asks Puck. “We got a situation,” says Black Bolt. And they all suit up, and head out in a plane toward the forrest.

Scene 4: Back at the cabin Sabertooth is watching TV. He feels a draft from the window. “Hmm, a little cold. I need some firewood,” he says getting up. He stops, and turns to Logan, tied up on the floor. “Stay put, runt!” he says, “I ain’t done with you yet!” “Neither am I, bub. Once I heal, your finished!” Sabertooth growls, and kicks him. “I will not let you heal!” (How much more can he take, you may ask.) Sabertooth then leaves to get firewood.

Scene 5: Alpha Flight lands at the edge of the woods, and makes their way on foot to the cabin. They go inside where Logan is on the floor. “Are you OK? asks Black Bolt. “Black Bolt? Puck? Sasquatch?" asks a suprised Logan, “What are you doing here?” “We’re here to help you, though I am not sure why.” Puck steps forward. “Where’s Sabertooth?” “Went to get firewood, he’ll be back.” “We’ll be waiting,” says Sasquatch, pounding his hands together. “Yes, in the meantime help Logan Puck.” “Yes sir.” “And you Sasquatch, try to stay out of site.” “Don’t worry sir, will do,” says Sasquatch, as he walks away. Puck unties Logan, and helps him up. “I’ll be OK, just need some water.” ”He says. Puck grabs a cup of water, “Here.” Logan drinks it, and puts it down. Then rips off his shirt, and his wounds starts to heal. “Let’s get him,” Logan says in a demeaning manor. The scene fades out, as the 4 heroes look for Sabertooth.

Scene 6: In the woods, Sabertooth is gathering wood. “This looks good,” he says, as he checks the wood he has gathered. He turns, and heads back to the cabin, but squints his eyes, and then sniffs the air. He can smell the 4 men approaching, so he hides in some bushes. Logan and company stroll along, but can’t find Sabertooth. Suddenly Logan picks up a scent, “He’s here!” Creed pops out of the bush, “I thought I told you to stay put, runt!” “Sorry to ruin your fun, but I told you I would heal. And now, I will destroy you!” Logan charges, but is slashed by Sabertooth. Black Bolt hits him with a lightning bolt, but to no effect. Creed takes a grenade off his belt and hurls it at Black Bolt, who manages to dodge out of the way just in time. The mighty Sasquatch catches him in a bear hug, but Sabertooth manages to slip out, and slashes him, with his claws as well. Pucks curls up, and flies through the air like a bowling ball, and brings Vernon down. Sabertooth is quick to his feet, and tosses Puck into a tree. However, he is not fast enough, as Logan comes behind him, and plunges his claws into his skull. (I would say brain, but who knows if Sabertooth even has one.) “See ya bub,” he says as he takes his claws out. Wolverine feels a violent pain go away from his rib cage, as he heals fully. “Everyone OK?" he asks. “Yeah, good job” says an upside down, Puck. “Couldn’t have done it without you guys.” “Are we finally conquering that ego?” Black Bolt asks. “Just this once,” replies Logan. They all share a laugh, and return to headquarters.

Scene 7: Back at the headquarters, they all get treated for their injuries. Logan, still with them, is made to see the doctor, who is amazed that all the wounds have completely healed so quickly. He leaves, only giving a smile, no explanation. He walks into the control room, and heads for the door. “Where are you going now? Home?” “So soon?” says Sasquatch. “Yes, back to New York. It’s been fun. But I have business there.” Alpha Flight laughs at his perspective on the events as fun. Wolverine turns around and sees Black Bolt, there too. He extends his hand, and it is accepted. “I suppose there is no way I can convince you to stay this time?” “Sorry, my place is with the X-Men right now.” Black Bolt nods, “Then be well old friend.” “Farewell,” Puck and Sasquatch say in unison. Logan then turns and leaves. The door shuts, and Black Bolt says “Remember, this was a normal day off. Logan was never here, or at least as far as the general needs to know.” We then see Logan on his bike, ridding back to NY.
