Xtreme Wolverine Season 1 Episode 3: The Fate Of The Planet

5-The picture of the alien spacecraft approaching the planet Earth.

Scene 1: In a deep, dark part of outer space, all is quiet (or so it seems). Coming into the picture appears a strange looking shape. It is an alien spacecraft. It looks very big and oval-like (picture the mother ship from Independence Day). On board the ship are two rather ugly looking aliens. "Drop us out of warp Sef", says the demonic leader named Sephiroth. "Yes my lord," says his servant. The ship slows down as it comes out of warp speed. "Sir, we are nearing the planet Earth." "On screen Sef", says Sephiroth. On the big giant screen inside the ship, an image of the planet Earth is shown. Sephiroth smiles. "Excellent. It's been so long since we were here. Now the time has come for us to destroy this puny planet. Send out the drones Sef." Sef obeys and he sends out 100 drones (small spaceships) out of the mother ship. Scene fades out as the drones and the mother ship enter the Earth's atmosphere.

Opening Credits

Scene 2: In a rurual countryside in the mid-west United States (presumably around Ohio let's say), a farmer is tending to his crops. It is a brutally hot day as temperatures are near 100 degrees. "Phew. Man is it hot here today," says the farmer as he wipes his brow full of sweat. "I just wish we could get some rain so I can save my harvest", he thinks to himself. Suddenly, the sky becomes pitch-black as the alien spaceship has entered the atmosphere and eclipsed the sun. The farmer looks up in awe. "WHAT THE?!", he shrieks. The drones are flying all around the mother ship. "FIREEE!" screams Sephiroth. The drones obey their command and start firing on the ground turning the vast harvest (and the ground) to a sea of fire. The farmer is in shock and tries to escape, but the drones shoot him down and he dies. The man's body is shown evaporating into thin air. The alien spacecraft then moves forward heading east.

Scene 3: Back at Professor Page's mansion, Logan and the X-Men are relaxing in and around the pool. "HEY! Watch it bub", says a rather pissed off Wolverine. "Sorry hun'. Didn't mean to splash ya",says the very sexy looking mutant known as Rogue. "That's ok darlin'. I'm not mad at ya. Just don't let it happen ok?", says Logan with a smile. Rogue nods in agreement and swims off. Suddenly out of nowhere, Beast does a gigantic cannonball right into the pool drenching everyone in and around the pool. "MCCOYYY!" screams a drenched Cyclops. "OOPS. I'm terribly sorry everyone,? says Beast. Logan is shown grinding his teeth. Professor Page then comes on his flying wheelchair. "Sorry to disturb your fun, but I need all of you in my office on the double." Logan and the X-Men dry off and head inside the mansion. They all arrive in Professor Page's office. "Ah, you all made it. Good, let's begin", he says. He then drops a giant screen down so that Logan and the X-Men can see what's on it. He then shows a picture of the alien spacecraft destroying everything and anything in its path. "Hmm. That ship looks oddly familiar", says Logan scratching his chin. "Logan you've seen it before", asks Page. "I believe so. But it looks different from when I last encountered it." "You mean you've fought aliens before?" asks Cyclops. Logan turns his head."Well obviously, since I just said that a minute ago. You should pay atttention more often bub." "Well whatever it is I need all your help on this. This may be your toughest mission to date. Be very careful everyone." "We will Professor", says Cyclops. The X-Men then leave to their respective rooms and change into their uniforms and head to the Blackbird. However, Logan stays in the office looking at the screen. "Something wrong Logan?", asks Page. "No it's ok Professor. I'm just trying to figure out if it's the same ship I saw when I was in Alpha Flight that's all." "Oh OK Logan. Be careful" "Don't worry about me bub. I'll send those puny aliens back where they belong", says Logan quite confidently. Page smiles and Logan goes to his room, puts on his uniform (which was provided to him in episode 2) and heads out to meet the X-Men by the Blackbird. They all enter and buckle up in their seats. The scene then shows the Blackbird taking off and exiting the mansion through a secret cave.

Scene 4 (I envision the Imperial March from Star Wars playing here): Back on board the alien speceship, Sephiroth is sitting in his chair looking at all the chaos that is going on outside the ship. He begins to laugh rather wickedly. Suddenly, a sound goes off inside the ship and a blaring red light goes on and off. "Warning! Enemy vessel approaching", says the computer. "WHAT?! Sef, put that ship onscreen", says a rather angry Sephiroth. The screen then switches to a shot of the Blackbird approaching the ship. "Sir, our scanners indicate 6 human life forms aboard the ship", says Sef. Sephiroth stops to look at the ship. He then feels a sharp pain coming from his side. He falls down. "No it CAN'T be! Yess it's him!" says Sephiroth. "Who sir", asks Sef. "The one we encountered last time." "You don't mean the mutant with the claws now do you?", questions Sef. "Indeed it is Sef. His name is Wolverine. He has a power like none I've ever seen before. Records show that he has a mutant healing factor that can heal any wound within an instant." Sef then interrupts. "But why are we here now milord?" "SILENCE you fool! What did I just tell you? I need to kill him so that I can extract his powers making me immortal", he says as he laughs again as the scene shifts to a shot of the Blackbird.

Scene 5: On board the Blackbird, Logan and the X-Men are all strapped into their seats. Logan looks around. "Hmm. Quite cozy for a piece of rotten tin", he says. "Sorry it isn't up to your standards Logan", says Cyclops. Logan looks at him like he wants to rip out his guts. "Now why would an alien spececraft want to kill so many innocent people," asks Valerie Grey. "For total anihilation that's why", says Logan. Suddenly, Logan feels a sharp pain his his side. (just like Sephiroth did) He begins to scream in pain. "Logan what's the matter? Are you ok?", aks Cyclops. "No I got gas! What the hell you think?", screams Logan. "I sense a being on that ship. NO it can't be!", says Logan as his eyes bulge. "Who is it Logan", asks Beast. "His name is Sephiroth. He is lord of a galaxy far away from here." "How do you know this hun?", asks Rogue. "We've met once before. While I was in Alpha Flight (after the Weapon X Project),he tried to conquer earth and take away my powers so that he can use it to become immortal.But me and my teammates defeated him and sent him away. I feel he's back for revenge." Logan stops. "That's so sad Logan", says Valerie Grey. "Well whomever he is, we will send him back to his own galaxy", says a rather confident Cyclops. Logan then stares at Cyclops. "Ha. You actually think all of you can stop him? You're no match for his strength and power", he says under his breath. The drones then open fire on the Blackbird. But they couldn't hit the backside of a barn as the miss wildly and hit the Blackbird's shileds. The Blackbird then returns the favor and destroys all of the drones with ease. The mother ship then releases a big laser beam and hits the Blackbird shattering its shields and blowing out one of its engines. "Whoa. Hold on everyone this could get ugly", says Cyclops as the scene fades out showing the Blackbird spiraling out of control.

Scene 6: The Blackbird crashes into the ground, but no severe damage is done to it. The alien spaceship lands as well. "Everyone ok back there", aaks Cyclops. "Yeah we're ok", says Gambit. "Logan. You ok?" "No, I'm bleeding like a stuffed pig. WHAT DO YOU THINK you idiot?!" Logan screams at Cyclops. He then looks at Logan's arm which is shown healing all the scratches and scars. They then head out of the Blackbird. The alien spaceship also opens up and Sef and Sephiroth emerge from it. Sephiroth is in his traditional black cloak with his long sword by his side (if you never played Final Fantasy 7, then you won't know what I'm talking about). Sef is wearing a purple suit with a phaser strapped to his side. "So, we meet again mutant", says Sephiroth. "Well obviously we do bub. What the hell you doing back here?",replies Logan. I thought I sent you back to that pathetic galaxy of yours. What you doing here anyways bub?" "Isn't it obvious? I've come to get that power of yours so that I can become immortal,? says Sephiroth. Logan smiles. "I thought so. Well, if you want this so bad COME AND GET IT!", he says. He extracts his claws and charges toward Sephiroth. But Sef steps in front of his leader and hits Logan in the chest with the phaser. Logan's shirt is ripped and smoke is coming off it. Logan falls down but gets right back up as he slashes Sef into many pieces with his claws. Sef is sent back to hell. Logan looks at Sephiroth. "So you got some puny rat doing all your dirty work now? HA! How pathetic!", he says. "I never needed him anyways," says Sephiroth. "Well no bother, 'cuz now I'm gonna send you back to hell where you belong." Logan charges Sephiroth, but Sephiroth is one step ahead of him and dodges to the right and slashes Logan in the gut with his blade. Logan falls down bleeding. The other X-Men look on and spring into action. But even their combined strength is no match for the mighty Sephiroth as he slashes all of them down rendering them unconscious but still alive since he is only after Logan. He goes over to Logan's limp and bloody body and laughs. "Heh heh heh. You pathetic mutant. Don't you remember what happened last time? You forget that I am a GOD!", he says. "Hmph. Whatever bub. That don't mean I can?t still kill you." Logan again charges towards Sephiroth, but this time Sephiroth is ready and plunges his sword deep into Logan's chest rendering him semi-conscious. "Pathetic little bug" says Sephiroth as he picks up Logan's bloody body. He turns to head to his spacecraft when from out of nowhere, Logan wakes up and stabs Sephiroth in the chest with his claws. Sephiroth drops Logan on the ground and is shown in a great deal of pain. "How can this be? Y, You should be dead! No one has survived that kind of attack!", says a stunned Sephiroth. Logan then rips off his uniform and shows him that all his scars are being healed. Sephiroth gets angry and charges at Logan. Logan this time dodges to the left and trips Sephiroth to the ground. He then jumps on top of him pinning his body to the ground with his legs. "It's not over yet mutant. We'll meet again", says Sephiroth. Logan smiles and extends his claws over Sephiroth's face. "Not this time bub!" He then proceeds to stab Sephiroth directly in the eyes, and the mighty Sephiroth is sucked back to hell. A tatoo of a cross is shown fading from Logan's forehead. He gets up and looks around. He sees the X-Men on the ground unconscious. He doesn't care for their safety, so he heads towards the alien spacecraft and enters. He activates the self-destruct sequence and heads out of the ship. He picks up the injured X-Men and brings them back to the Blackbird. And with his knowledge (or lack of) of flying planes, he riggs the Blackbird and flies away just in time to see the alien spacecraft blow up into a million pieces.

Scene 7: Back at the mansion, Logan is shown walking down the hall, into the hospital where the X-Men are shown recovering from their wounds. Valerie Grey appears, as she is the lesser hurt of the group. "Logan! You're ok. Thank God", she says with a smile. "I'm not dead yet darlin'. It will take a HECK of a lot to kill this mutant", he says as he lifts his shirt and shows Valerie that all his wounds have healed. "Wow. That's some healing factor you got there Logan." Logan moves closer to her and puts her hand on his chest. "You don't know the half of it",he says as he and Valerie are shown looking into each others eyes. Cyclops then wakes up (oh great! lol) along with the rest of the injured X-Men. "Ah, Logan I see you're ok." "Well, I can't say the same for the rest of you ", he says rather sarcastically. Professor Page enters the room. "Ah, good you're all ok. Good work everyone." "No sweat bub. Since I did most of the dirty work", says Logan with a smirk on his face. "Well, er, thank you for bringing my X-Men back here safely." "No problem Professor. These guys are like family to me", says Logan obviously lying since he cares for no one. "Say how did you get us back here Logan", asks Cyclops. Logan smiles. "Let's just say I have a few tricks up my sleeve", he says winking at Professor Page. Page smiles back and they all laugh. But their laughter is short-lived as a sound goes off inside the mansion. "Oh great! What now?",says Professor Page. He and Logan go to his office to check it out. Page puts on the screen and we see a picture of a large mutant killing innocent people in the forests of Canada. "Oh no. This is bad, real bad",says a worried Professor Page. Logan looks at the screen. "GRRRR. SABERTOOOTH!", he yells. The episode ends with a two-shot of Logan and Sabertooth side by side.
