XTreme Wolverine Season 2 Episode 2: ”Mob Rules”

A voice cries out saying: Previously on XTremeWolverine, the following clips are shown:

1- From Mortal Sins, Logan is shown at the bar having a beer.

2- From Shattered Dreams I, Edea has a dream where she sees herself, a young man

and a little boy who looks like Nightcrawler.

3- From Shattered Dreams I, Nightcrawler and Logan battle it out.

4- From Shattered Dreams II, Logan kills Edea and sends her to hell.  

Scene 1 (Italian music is playing in the background): A man's voice is heard saying: "Venice, Italy. A city of love, fine dining and lovely scenery." The camera shows various pictures of Venice. "People come from all over the globe to see this great city. But today, things wil not be so great."  

Scene 2: We switch to a bank in the heart of the city where people are shown making transactions and deposits. It is a beautiful day. Suddenly, 5 men wearing ski masks and black shirts storm the building. "OK, nobody move this is a stickup," says one of the members, a red-haired man. Everyone drops to the floor. The other members take their jewelery and any money they may have and stuff it into a big green bag. A security guard is shown in the background by the vault. He is shaking hysterically. He picks up his walkie-talkie. "This is Officer Wilson. I need assistance at La Banca D'Italia at once. The Soprano Mafia has just robbed the bank," he says in Italian. (subtitles used) One of the men with a stocky build over hears him and shoots him in the head with his gun. The guard falls down in a pool of blood and dies. People are heard screaming and covering their heads. "Anymore heroes?!" he screams. Another man with a slender build goes to the teller. He asks her to empty the register and put the money in the bag. She obliges.(unwillingly)Little does he know that the teller has hit a silent button under her desk to call the police. About $100,000 is taken from the bank. The gang then leaves the bank and hop in to a white van. Sirens are heard in the background. "Oh no. It's the cops," says the red-haired man. "Step on it Paulie," says a fat looking man, presumably the leader. The van then speeds off. The cops are right behind them in pursuit. "They're gaining boss," says the red-haired man. "You think I don't know that?" screams the leader. He pulls out his gun, and opens the back doors. He shoots at the cop car and scores a direct hit on the tires. The cops car loses control and plows into a pole bursting into flames.(guess the cops die)"Nice shot Tony," says the red-haired man. Tony smiles and closes the doors. The van speeds off as the camera shows the cops car still in flames.  

Opening Credits  

Scene 3: Logan is riding on a gondola through the city. He looks up at the scenery and seems pleased. "Ahhh, Venice," he says. He gets off at a nearby pier and heads into a cafe. He sits down at the back of the cafe. A young waiter approaches him. "Buon Giorno signore. Che mangi oggi?" he says in Italian Logan looks up with a confused look (since he isnt familiar with the language). "Oh, I'm sorry sir. I didn't know that you were American. My name is Giovanni and I'll be your waiter. What can I get you?" "Coffee. Black. No sugar," says Logan. "Anything to eat?" "No thanx bub. I'm here on business." The waiter then leaves to get Logan his coffee. A TV is on nearby. The reporter is heard saying (subtitles used): "This just in. La Banca D'Italia has been robbed by the notorious 'Soprano Mafia'. One man and 2 cops were killed. No one was injured. The gang stole approximately $100,000. More news later." The report ends. Logan looks up at a picture of the gang on the TV. "Hmm. Looks like these guys are very big here," he says to himself. "How unlucky for them that I'm in town." He extracts his claws then retracts them. The waiter comes over and is amazed at the site of Logan's claws. "A-Are you a mutant?" he says stuttering. "You got a problem with that bub?" says Logan. "N-No. It's just that I've never met one up close." "Well my name is Wolverine. I'm a special mutant laced with an adamantium skeleton and these claws. I also have a healing factor that can heal any wound I have within an instant." The waiter is amazed. "So you're one of the good guys eh?" he asks. Logan smiles. "As long as people don’t get in my way, I guess you can say that. So tell me more about this 'Soprano Mafia'." "Well I don't know much but I'll tell you all I know. The leaders name is Tony Soprano. He is very rich and powerful. He will stop at nothing to get what he wants." Logan seems impressed. "Well then. Guess I'll have to pay him a visit. Do you know where he lives?" "Well I've been told that he owns a bar called 'Badda-Bing'. Its about 5 miles away from here." "Thanx for the info bub," says Logan as he finishes his coffee. He gets up and leaves the waiter a hefty tip. "Grazie signore," says the waiter. "Whatever," says Logan as he walks out.

Scene 4: At the headquaters of the notorious Soprano Mafia, the gang is shown playing pool in a back hall. Tony is dividing the money up. "Heh-heh. Good job guys," he says laughing. "So boss, what are we doing next?" asks the red-haired man whose name is Ralph. "Hey, let's go kill the Pope!" screams Paulie. "What are you crazy? You’ll go to hell for sure," says Ralph. They both begin to argue and the other members try to seperate them. Tony slams his fist on the table. "ENOUGH! We're gonna` sit here and think about it." Tony then takes out a cigar, lights it up and begins to smile wickedly.

Scene 5: Logan is walking along the road asking people along the way if they have any information about the Soprano Mafia. None is given since all of them speak Italian. He approaches a small bridge and looks down into the water. "Man, some people can be so rude," he says to himself. "Dont fear Logan. I will help you," says Professor Page. Logan looks shocked and begins to look around. "Professor? Where are you?" he asks. "Down here my friend." The professor's holographic image is projected into the water. "Nice trick bub," says Logan. "Thank you. I see you're having trouble finding the Mafia's headquarters." "Obviously. Can you help me?" The professor nods and touches his forehead. He uses his mental powers and sees the headquarters . He sees the gang plotting their next crime. A picture of the President of Italy and a bank are shown. Page comes back to reality. "Logan, I've located them. They are at a bar just along this road," says Page. "Great. I'm on my way," says Logan as he walks away. "Be very careful my friend," says Page concerned for his friend. (scene fades)

Scene 6: Back at the bar, the gang is plotting their next move. "So, have we come to an agreement?" says Tony. "We've decided on robbing another bank then killing the President," says the slender looking man whose name is Christopher. Tony begins to think to himself. Suddenly, the door opens and Logan is standing there. Everyone goes for their guns. "Who are you?" asks Ralph. "My name is Logan. I've heard a lot about you guys. I want to join in." The gang looks surprised . "And why should we let you join?" asks Paulie. Logan then extracts his claws. "This is why!" Everyone is shocked and point their guns at Logan. "Hold your fire!" screams Tony. He goes over to Logan. "Those are nice claws you got there. Maybe it's not a bad idea to have you join our gang. You're hired!" Logan nods. The other members are shown in disbelief at Tony's new recruit.

Scene 7: Logan and the Mafia head into a bank in Northern Venice. They head in. "Ok nobody move you know the drill," says Ralph. The people fall to the floor. Logan is shown in the background looking on. "Enjoy your fun all you want. 'Cuz  you'll all be dead soon," he says to himself. Chris fills the bag full of money (about half a million dollars worth) and they all head out. Logan seems unimpressed.

Scene 8: Back in the city, the President of Italy Luciano Marsalla is talking to the media. "Mr. President, what are you going to do about the Soprano Mafia's crime spree?" asks a female reporter. "Well, we got the police all over the city standing guard. I advise everyone to stay inside and take the necessary precautions," he says. (all of this is in Italian with subtitles used) Suddenly, the doors open and the Soprano Mafia strolls in. Logan is right behind them. The reporters all leave. (WUSSIES!) "What do you want?" asks the President. "We're here to kill you," says Paulie. Logan is off to the side away from the camera's view. Tony pulls out his gun and points it at the Presidents head. "Arriverderci signor Presidente," he says. He lets off a round, but out of nowhere, Logan leaps and pushes the President out of the way just in time. The gang is astonished. "What the hell you do that for?" screams Tony. Logan smiles and grins. "I fooled you all. I'm here to send you all to hell." He extracts his claws. "Not today freak," says Chris. He fires his gun at Logan, but Logan manages to avoid all of them and slashes Chris in the neck killing him instantly. Ralph and Paulie then fire their guns. Some bullets manage to hit Logan but to no effect. Logan jumps at them and slashes Ralph's head off and stabs Paulie in the head killing both of them. Logan then turns to Tony. "So much for your henchmen. Now it's your turn to die." He heads towards Tony, but Tony is ready for him and pumps 2 bullets into Logan's chest. Logan falls down hard and blood is shown coming out of his chest. He grimaces in pain. "That's what you get for messing with the Mafia!" screams Tony. He points the gun at Logan's eyes. Logan gets up and slices the gun right off of Tony's hands (WHOA!) "H-How did you do that? You should be dead!" says Tony shaking. Logan smiles. "Well I have a healing factor that can heal any wound that affects me. So bring it on, 'cuz you're going to hell." He lunges again at Tony, but Tony pulls out a small dagger-like knife and plunges it into Logan's chest near his heart. Logan falls down screaming and clutching his chest. Tony goes for his eyes but Logan stabs Tony in the head killing him instantly. Tony's body vanishes away. "Demon," says Logan. He begins to cough up blood. "Strange. Why isn't my healing factor working? I should be all healed up by now. What was in that knife?" he asks. He picks up the knife and heads to the President. "You ok Mr. President?" "Yes. Thank you kind sir," he says. The reporters come back in and take pictures of Logan and the President. (scene fades out)

Scene 9: Logan is in a hospital room bandaging himself up. Professor Page comes in his holographic form. "Good job Logan. Another demonic soul vanquished." "No problem Professor," says Logan. The professor smiles then looks down at Logan's wound. "You're hurt. Is your healing factor working?" he asks. "I dont know. It should be. I was stabbed by a knife. It’s in a lab down the hall." “I need you to come back to the mansion." "Why?" asks Logan. "Well, I doubt they can help you here, Valerie & I know more about mutant healing. I need to do some tests on you and figure out why your healing factor isnt responding." Logan nods. I will send the Blackbird, look out the window, and when you see it, go outside the window. Logan again nods, and waits. A few seconds later a plane hovers outside his window. Wolverine opens the window and jumps out. Inside the plane, Nightcrawler looks at Logan. “Excuse me,” he says. Instantly he disappears, and reappears holding the knife. Logan sits down, and they race back to NY. THE END!!!
