XTreme Wolverine Season 2 Episode 4: ”The Omega Strike”

Scene 1(Subtitles are used, as this is all spoken in Russian): In a snowy region of Siberia (where isn't it snowy lol), a tall man wearing a white tank top is in the forest gathering wood. The camera zooms in to show his face. His entire body is made of metal and he is very muscular. His name is Pietro Lupone. But to others, the mutant known as COLOSSUS. Colossus finishes up his work and heads back to his cabin. "Pietro, are you done yet?" says a small little girl named Elizabeth. "Yes, I come soon," he says. Colosus picks up the wood and begins to head home when he hears a stange voice from beyond the forest. "Pietro, Pietro." Colossus turns around and heads to where the voice is coming from. As he gets there, he sees a mysterious figure approaching. He drops the wood. Out of the fog, appears a tall man with a slender build, grey hair and a red bandanna. "YOU!" screams Colossus. "You'll pay for killing my wife!" He lunges toward the evil man but gets hit as the evil man shoots out tentacles from his arms. (Think of Dr. Octopus from Spider-Man) Colossus falls down but gets back up. "Pietro, Pietro, Pietro. Don't you ever learn? You can't beat me. No one can," he says in a wicked voice. "No matter what, I will find a way to destroy you," says Colossus. He charges at the evil man once more, but this time he is hit with a strong blast from the evil man's chest. Colossus falls down hard and is barely breathing. Smoke is coming from his body. "Pitiful mutant," says the mysterious figure. He picks him up and heads out of the forest. A strange woman dressed in black is watching all of this from behind a tree. (scene fades)  

Opening Credits  

Scene 2: At the mansion, the X-men are in the gym training. Elsewhere, Beast and Valerie Grey are in the hospital doing some tests on the knife that stabbed Logan in Episode 2. "Hmmm," says Beast. "This is very interesting." "What is it Hank?" asks Valerie. "The alloy on this knife seems to be made of a certain poison." Valerie is shocked. "What does that mean?" "I think when Logan got stabbed, the poison in the knife went into his bloodstream making his healing factor act the way it did. But don't worry, all tests show it has passed through his system, and he is returning to normal. Logan is a strong guy, he’ll be fine. ." Valerie seems pleased, but yet is concerned. Professor Page enters the hospital. "So, have you found anything about that knife that stabbed Logan?" asks Page. Beast turns toward Page. "Yes we have Professor. The alloy on this knife had some sort of poison on it and when Logan was stabbed, it went into his bloodstream. Thus that's why his healing factor was acting so stangely," says Beast. Page looks intrigued. "Hmm. I see. Well at least he is alive. He should be arriving shortly." Page then turns to head out of the hospital, but bumps into Logan on the way out. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry Logan. I didn't see you there," says Page. Logan smiles. "That's ok Professor. No harm done," says Logan. "Well since you're here, we found out why your healing factor was acting the way it did. Turns out that the knife has some sort of poison on it and when it stabbed you, the poison went into your bloodstream and made your healing factor act the way it did." Logan seems pissed off and slams his hand on the table. "Damn that Italian scum!" "Relax, it’s effects have long worn off. Your healing factor should be working normally now," says Beast. Logan looks at a scar on his arm. (inflicted by Kalashumar) He sees the scar fade away slowly. "Yup. It's good as new," he says flexing his arm. "Good," says Beast. Suddenly, a sound goes of inside the mansion. "What now?" says a rather annoyed Professor Page. He, Logan and Valerie head to his office.

Scene 3: In Professor Page's office, Page clicks on the monitor. On the screen is the woman dressed in black. "Professor, it's me Rogue," says the woman. "Rogue? Where are you?" asks the Professor. "I'm in Siberia following up on that report you gave me about the mutant known as Colossus. Seems someone from his past has kidnapped him." Valerie cuts in. "Did you see who it was?" "Yes. He was another mutant. Tall, with grey hair and a red bandanna. He also had tentacles coming out of his arms." Logan growls. "OMEGA RED!" he screams. "Logan, you know this guy?" asks Page. "Yeah, I know that fool. His real name is Ivan Rasputin and he ain’t just a mutant.” “What is he?” asks the professor. “He’s an experiment gone wrong. A powerful mutant, made more powerful by lacing his skin with carbonadium.” “Diamond?” gasps Valerie.” "Yeah, makes him the perfect soldier. Only problem is - he don’t follow orders. I met him when I was in Alpha Flight. I was leading a group through the northern part of Canada, when we were ambushed by him. He killed my whole squad, except . . . nevermind that, we have to stop him.” “So how do we stop him?” asks Rogue. “I don’t know. I couldn't stop him, no one can. I did however manage to get some shots in and stun him momentarily. He's the strongest one I've ever faced before." "So there is a way to defeat him?" asks Valerie cutting in. "Yeah, trap him in something unbreakable. We locked him in a room, but somehow he got out. However, he is stronger than any of us, even you Rogue," says Logan. Page seems intrigued by Logan's description. "Logan, I want to head to Siberia to meet up with Rogue. I want the both of you to rescue Colossus and bring him here." "Don't worry Professor. I'll bring him back here safely. And Omega Red, is a dead man." He extracts his claws then retracts them. He gets his uniform and heads to the Blackbird. The plane takes off from the cave.

Scene 4 (Russian music is playing in the background): Back in Siberia, we see Omega Red carrying Colossus on his back into his castle. He enters and drops Colossus like a bowling ball. He begins to laugh wickedly. "You are a fool for trying to defeat me Pietro," he says. Colossus struggles to his feet. "You're a murderer! I will destroy you and avenge my wife's death," he says. He charges toward Omega Red, but is stopped short as 2 steel buckles strap onto his legs. Colossus tries to break free but to no avail. He tries to swing at the evil mutant but misses horribly. "Heh Heh Heh. You're pathetic. You always were a wimp," says Omega Red with a coy smile. "Ungh. Release me!" screams Colossus. "All in due time my firend." "What are you going to do to me?" "Well, I'm going to make you my new bodyguard." Colossus laughs. "Psh, like that's gonna' happen," he says sarcastically. Omega Red's eyes suddenly turn red and he raises his arms. "ESRO FUTO!" he screams. (subtitles used) Colossus then feels a strong pain in his side and moans in pain. He clutches his ribs and falls down to a knee. His white t-shirt begins to rip open and his body becomes stronger. His eyes then turn dark red. He breaks free from the buckles and walks toward Omega Red. "What is your command master," he says. Omega Red begins to laugh even harder as scene fades with a closeup shot of Colossus is shown.

Scene 5: Logan lands in Siberia. He heads to the forest to meet up with Rogue. He sees a woman with a black coat ahead of him. "Hey darlin', you seem cold," he says. Rogue turns around and smacks Logan in the face. "Oh, I'm sorry hun'. Didn't see ya' there," says Rogue. Logan rubs his face. "Man can anyone watch where they're going? Anyways, tell me about this Colossus fellow." Rogue nods. "Well, I don't know a lot but I will give you as much info as I can. He was a regular guy who worked with his father on a farm. Then one day, a nuclear blast hit Siberia and his body became metallic. His parents and wife all died. He has vowed to find the person repsonsible for the nuclear blast and kill him." Logan rubs his chin, seemingly impressed. "We have something in common.” Rogue stares at Wolverine. “We both want Omega Red dead.” "Omega who?" asks Rogue. "I'll fill you in along the way. Let's hurry. Who knows what he's done to Colossus." The 2 heroes head out of the forest and head to Omega Red's lair. (Scene fades)

Scene 6: Back at Omega Red's lair, he and Colossus are shown in a dark room. "How do you feel my pet?" asks Omega Red. "Fine master. What is your command?" says Colossus. "I want you to kill some people for me. The first is someone named Wolverine." "As you wish my lord." Suddenly, a sound goes off in the castle. "What the?" says Omega Red. He and Colossus head to the control room. Omega Red clicks on the monitor. On the screen are Logan and Rogue approaching the castle. "Hmmm. So that pest has found my lair. And he brought some help. He'll regret coming up here. Pietro bring them to me at once." "Yes milord." Colossus then heads out of the room. Omega Red is shown smiling wickedly.

Scene 7: Logan and Rogue approach the castle. They head in. "So who's this Omega Red guy?" asks Rogue. "Someone from my past . . . he killed a lot of people I knew. He’s very strong so be on you guard," says Logan. Rogue nods. Suddenly, Logan picks up a strange scent *sniff sniff* "What is it Logan?" asks Rogue. "I smell someone else, probably Colossus. He is very close. Get ready," he says. He extracts his claws. Out of nowhere, Colossus hits Rouge as he descends from the ceiling. "ROGUE!" screams Logan. He begins to growl. He lunges towards Colossus and slashes him in the chest. But it has no effect as Colossus just smiles. He picks Logan up and throws him into  a wall. Logan is down but not out. Colossus goes over to finish him. Rogue comes to and rises up. "Logan, hold on!" she screams. She flies over to Colossus and with her bare hand, touches Colossus's head. "Leave him alone," she screams. Suddenly, all of Colossus's power goes into Rogue's body. All 3 mutants fall down hard. Logan is first to his feet and goes over to Rogue. "You ok darlin'?" he asks. "Unghh. That's one powerful mutant," she says struggling to her feet. "You're hurt stay here." Colossus stands up. "W-What happened?" he asks. "You attacked us, while we were coming to save you bub. You must have been under a spell by that evil madman. But you're ok now." Colossus frowns. "I, I couldnt stop him. He was too strong," he says crying. "Don't worry. You fought valiently against him. Other men would've been dead by now. But we're here now. Come with us and we'll destroy that madman together," says Logan. Colossus smiles. "Yes. I will help you... Friends." Logan nods and the 3 heroes head to Omega Red's chamber.

Scene 8: Omega Red is in his throne room. "Hmmm. What's taking him so long?" he wonders. Suddenly, the doors are thrown open thanks to Colossus. "Ah, Pietro your're back. And you brought those mutants as well. Good work." "No master. I brought them here to kill you," he says pumping his fist. Omega Red looks shocked. (or is really stupid). "That's right bub. We're here to end your reign of terror," says Logan as he extracts his claws. Colossus and Logan both charge at Omega Red, while Rogue takes flight. Both go down hard as Omega Red unleashes his tentacles from his arms. Rogue grabs a hold, and starts draining his energy, but gets a shock as well. She screams and falls down. The others go at him again and spilt up. Colossus knocks Omega Red in the face with a strong punch and Logan slashes him from behind. Blood begins to drip from Omega Red's face. "You pitiful mutants! You'll pay for this," he says as he wipes the blood off his face. "BRING IT!" screams Colossus and Logan in unison. Omega Red charges but the strength of the 2 heroes is too much for him as Colossus tosses him into a wall. He kicks Colossus to the floor, but Logan is right there to immediatly pin him down. “This is for Dan!” he says punching Omega Red in the face. “An’ Stan,“ he says as he hits him again. “An’ Tod,” as he hits him a third time. "For Jason." Then he goes balistic, and mumbles a few indecipherable words, as he pounds away. Finally he stops, and points his claws over Omega Red's eyes. As he begins to drive his claws into his skull, (I'd say brain but who knows if he has one) Colossus stops him. "Noo. He's mine!" he screams. Logan looks up and is surprised that Colossus wouldn't let him kill him. Omega Red laughs and kicks Logan in the groin. (OUCH!) Rogue gets up, but Colossus falls on top of her, being thrown by Omega Red. He then heads out of the castle like the coward he really is. "DAMMIT! You let him get away!" he yells at Colossus. "I'm sorry my friend. But I wanted him for myself. He killed my wife and family . . . I let my pride get the best of me," says Colossus. Logan is pissed off and storms out of the room, knocking a bunch of shelves down along the way. “It’s ok,” says Rogue. “It gets to all of us." The 2 heroes then go to the Blackbird and head back to the mansion. (Scene fades)

Scene 9: Back at the mansion, the 3 heroes enter Professor Page's office. "Ahhh you're back. And you brought Colossus with you. Good work," he says. "No problem bub. We got him here safely," says Logan. "But this IDIOT wouldn't let me kill Omega Red." "I apologize again Logan. But I didn't want him to die that easily," says Colossus. Logan gives Colossus a weird look. "Well at least you brought Colossus here safely. He can become a big asset to the group," says Page. Logan doesn't seem to care. "He better be. 'Cuz I'm the only real asset you got around here," says Logan. He heads to his room to change. Page, Rogue and Colossus all look on in amazement as "Back in the USSR" by Paul McCartney is playing in the background as we fade out slowly.
