Xtreme Wolverine Season 1 Episode 1: “Origin”

Scene 1: We start off in a small valley near New York City. It is a lovely day in the woods and the camera shows the scenery. Our good friend Logan is by a fishing pond fishing. He hasn’t caught a fish all day. Then, Logan feels a strong tug on his fishing rod. “Whoa! This looks like a big one!”, he says. He reels it in, but it’s only an old smelly shoe. Logan looks at the shoe. “DAMMIT! That’s the third shoe today! Guess I’ll have to go into town to get some food”. He takes his rod and goes back into his cabin.

Scene 2 (envision Roxanne by the Police playing here): We switch to a bar in the city where 2 young men are drinking their lives away. The bartender looks at them and says: “Hey you guys are drunk. Get out of here!” “Aww what do you know! Give us 2 more for the road”, says the older drunk. The bartender gives them their beers and walks away angry. They finish their drinks, put some money on the table and head outside. As they walk on, they bump into a mysterious looking man in a black trench coat. “Hey watch it!”, says the drunken man on the left. The man in the trench coat smirks and laughs evilly. The 2 men look at each other confused. “What’s so funny punk?”, says the drunks. “Heh-heh-heh. Nothing”. The 2 drunk men leave. As they walk along they see the mysterious man again, but this time ina dark alley. “Hey pal, are you following us?” “No I’m not. Just having a cigarette”. “Well you better stop before you get an ass-kicking”, says the 2nd drunk man. “BRING IT ON!”, says the figure. The 2 men run toward the man, but he trips the 1st man and he falls into a puddle. The other drunk picks up a steel pipe and hits him in the back. “Ooooo that tickles”, he says. The drunk man is obviously in shock and goes to hit him again. But the mysterious man moves out of the way and punches him in the face breaking his nose. The man is bleeding from his nose. His buddy gets up and charges from behind but is thrown into the wall. The evil figure picks him up by his shirt and rips out his spine. (SICK!) The man dies. His buddy looks on in complete shock and tries to get away, but the evil figure catches up to him and knocks him down. “P, Please don’t kill me.” he cries. The evil man looks at him and grins. “Sorry, but now you must die”. He takes off his hat and reveals himself. The camera shows a very scary looking man and his eyes begin to grow bright red. The drunk man screams in horror as the evil figure blasts him with his eyes and the drunk evaporates. Ashes are seen lying on the ground. The evil man puts his hat back on and leaves.

Scene 3: Back at the cabin, Logan is inside watching his favorite TV show when the news interrupts. A news reporter is heard saying: “Two men were brutally killed this evening by what witnesses say was a man in a black trenchcaot. More news later.” Logan looks at the picture of the man and seems bewildered. “Hmmm. He looks familiar”, he says. He turns off the TV, leaves the cabin and heads off on his motorbike.

Scene 4: Logan arrives at the crime scene. Cops are lined up getting evidence. Logan sees a white cloth over one of the dead men. He asks the officer to remove the cloth and all we see is the remains of the first drunk man’s guts. “Poor fellow. Who could have done such a thing?”says the officer. “I don’t know”, says Logan. Suddenly, he picks up a strange scent. He follows it to an abandoned factory where workers are stacking boxes filled with drugs. Logan climbs to he roof and looks inside. “What the hell are those idiots doing?” he yells. He breaks the window and jumps down. “Helooo boys”, he says. The workers run in shock (pussies!) “Get back here you cowards." But they keep running. Logan then picks up a strange scent. He sees a dark figure approaching from the tunnel. “Who goes there?” he says. Through the tunnel appears the dark trenchcoated man. “Hello Logan. So glad to see you," he says. Logan looks shocked. “How do you know my name?” “Well, I’ve heard all about you.” “What are you doing here? Why did you kill those men?” “They deserved it! And I'm doing some business that doesn’t concern you. You see, I’m a rich man and I need to sell my product to gain profit.” “By selling drugs to people? That’s robbery!”, Logan yells. “Well it’s quite simple really. We get the drugs and ship them off to our drug dealers," he says. “”You are a sick man! You’ll pay for this!” Logan says as he extends his adamantium claws. The evil man hen says: “Wait Logan! Don’t you know who I am?” Logan looks puzzled. “Well you do look familiar.”, he says as he scratches his chin. “Well I am Vince McManus. I run this company and I will kill ANYONE who gets in my way. Scene fades as Logan is getting very angry.

Scene 5: We return and Logan is very angry. “Bring it on bub, ‘cuz you’re going to hell.”, he says. He charges and slashes Vince in the chest slicing his shirt open. “Oooo that tickles”, he says. Logan is in shock. He goes to slash Vince but gets kicked in the gut and sent flying into the crates. “Hmmm. Not so good now are we eh? I think I’ll be going now," he says. He walks towards the tunnel. suddenly out of nowhere Logan springs up from the boxes and leaps in front of Vince. He slashes him right in the face. Vince is a bloody mess. “H, how did you survive? You should be dead!”, he says shaking. Logan smirks and reveals his shirt and the camera shows the wound slowly heal. “I am WOLVERINE! I am the BEST at what I do. I have a power that you will never have. This exoskeleton and these claws. (he extends his claws) Now you will die!” Logan then lunges his claws into Vince’s chest and lifts him up. “No more dealing for you bub," he says as he drops him like a sack of potatoes. Vince is sucked back to hell. A strange aura leaves Logan’s body and a tattoo of a snake disappears of his body. Logan leaves. (Scene fades out)

Scene 6: Logan is back in his cabin changing his clothes which are drenched in blood. Suddenly, a strange figure enters the room. “Well done Logan. I’m very impressed.” Logan looks back and sees a angelic figure. “Who are you?” he asks. “I am Professor Dallas Page. I am the head of the Institute for Special Mutants. I have heard great things about you. Come with me. We have things to discuss.” Page disappears and Logan is left in shock.
