XTreme Wolverine Season 2 Episode 5: ”Rumble In The Jungle”

Scene 1: Inside the mansion, all is quiet. The X-Men are all in the battle room training. Elsewhere, Logan is in his room meditating. He is only wearing boxer shorts. A knock is heard on his door. "Who is it?" he asks. "It's me Page," says the Professor. "Come in." The Professor walks in. "Sorry to bother you Logan." "It's ok Professor. Just finishing up," he says as he towels off. "What's up?" Page looks down. "Nothing much, except that I haven't been sensing any demonic activity lately." He pauses. "Strange." Logan looks at Page. "Maybe the demons took a day off," he says sarcastically. Page smiles. Suddenly, a noise goes off in the mansion. "What now?" says a rather annoyed Page. He and Logan go to his office.

Scene 2: Inside the Professor's office, Page clicks on the monitor. On the screen is our good friend Peter Gilmur (from Season 1). "Hello? Is this Professor Page?" he asks. Page nods. "Indeed. And who might you be?" Logan cuts in. "I know him Professor. Hi bub. What's up?" "Oh hey Logan. Listen, the reason I called is because I've been having these violent dreams about the Lizard King." Logan looks surprised. "The Lizard King? Didnt I kill him a while ago?" he asks. "Yes you did, but the one in my dreams seemed much stronger than before," says Peter. Logan then turns to Page. "You think he's back from the dead?" he asks. "I'm not sure. I'm not sensing his energy," says Page rubbing his chin. Suddenly, a white flash comes from Page. He touches his forehead and uses his mental powers to see the Lizard King terrorizing a city. He then comes back to reality. "Unghh!" he screams falling to a knee. "Professor, what happened?" asks Logan concerned for his friend. "Your friend was right. He is stronger than before. Either someone brought him back or he cloned himself to be a killing machine. I need you to check it out Logan." "Where is he?" he asks. "In a jungle in Brazil. I saw a cabin in my dream," says Peter. "Im on it," says Logan turning to the door. "Wait Logan. I want you to take Colossus with you. He can help you, and needs the training." says Page. "Ok, I'll go get him," says Logan obviously lying since he can handle himself. He leaves the room and gets Colossus. He informs him of the mission and they get on the Blackbird and head out of the cave. (scene fades)

Opening Credits

Scene 3: In a deep part of the Amazon Jungle, there is a small cabin. Inside are 2 rather strong looking henchman and the evil mutant known as The Lizard King. "Good work gentleman," says the Lizard King. "No problem boss," says the taller henchmen. "What's next?" asks the smaller looking henchmen. "I get my revenge on my son's death by that pesky mutant Wolverine. I know he will come down here. And when he does, I will kill him for taking my only son away from me. Come, let us prepare to meet him." The Lizard King and his 2 henchmen are shown waiting for Logan's arrival.

Scene 4: Logan and Colossus arrive in Brazil. They head into the jungle. Colossus looks around at the jungle. "This seems nice," he says. "Maybe. If you like poisonous snakes and stuff," says Logan. Colossus gulps. "Dont worry. I was only kidding with you rookie." Both smile. Suddenly, Logan picks up a strange scent *sniff sniff* "What is it Logan?" asks Colossus. "Mutant. Might be the Lizard King. 2 others are with him. Human. Be on your guard bub," says Logan. Colossus nods and the 2 heroes go deeper into the jungle. (Scene fades)

Scene 5: Back at the Lizard King's cabin, the evil mutant is talking with one of his henchmen about their next move. "So, have you decided yet?" he asks. "Yes milord. I've decided on kidnapping the President's daughter and holding her for ransom," says the henchmen. The Lizard King smiles wickedly. Suddenly, the other henchmen runs inside like he has to pee really bad. (sorry this is a family show, lol) "My lord, 2 men are approaching the cabin," he screams. "Hmmm. Seems like that pesky mutant has found my hideout. And he's brought some help. No matter, I will kill both of them and avenge my sons death," says the Lizard King as he begins to laugh wickedly.

Scene 6: Logan and Colossus are still in the jungle. "You sure we're going the right way Logan?" asks Colossus. "My nose has never let me down. Just follow me!" says Logan. They keep walking. "So, um, what are we going to do when we meet this guy?" asks Colossus. "We'll deal with him accordingly. And when I have the chance to kill him don't get in my way ok? It's my job to vanquish demonic souls," says Logan as he turns to Colossus. Colossus nods. "Don't worry my friend, I'll let you do your job," he says. Logan looks suspiciously at Colossus, and the 2 head deeper into the jungle.

Scene 7: The 2 heroes make it to the Lizard King's hideout. Logan sniffs around. "Hmm, seems like they left," he says. Out of nowhere, Colossus gets hit by both of the henchmen. "PIETRO!" screams Logan. He extracts his claws. Colossus is taking a huge beating, but before Logan is close enough to help, Colossus manages to knock the henchman away. He then charges at the henchmen and knocks them over. He then grabs them, and throws them clear across the jungle into a tree. Both henchmen are knocked unconscious. Logan is shocked at Colossus's power. "Wow, nice going bub. I had no idea you had that kind of power," he says still in disbelief. Colossus just smiles. Suddenly, the Lizard King appears from behind the 2 heroes. Both go into defensive poses. "Ahh, I see you got rid of my henchmen rather easily. I'm impressed," he says. "You should be bub," says Logan sarcastically. "So, you've decided to come back from the dead eh?" The Lizard King is surprised at that remark. "I didn't die. You killed my only son. And now you must pay!" "BRING IT!" says Logan extracting his claws. Both charge at each other and score a hit each. Logan's hit is more effective. Colossus is shown looking on in the background. "Pesky mutant. You die now!" screams the Lizard King as he wipes blood from his face. He charges at Logan again but Colossus gets in the way and gets thrown into a tree. He is down but not out. Logan growls and leaps toward the Lizard King with his claws extended. But the Lizard King sees the move and wraps Logan up with his tail and begins to squeeze the life out of Logan. Logan is screaming in pain. The Lizard King is laughing wickedly. "It all ends here mutant," he says. He looks up to the sky and begins to chant a spell. "YO TU PANGEA TE FURO!" he says in Spanish. (subtitles used) He continues to chant the spell and Logan's body starts to become limp as the Lizard King's power is rising and is squeezing harder. Logan is gasping for air. Colossus comes to and sees Logan in danger. And with a strong charge, he knocks the Lizard King down. Logan falls to the floor and begins to breathe heavily. Colossus goes over to Logan. The Lizard King charges at him, but he doesn’t move. He turns into his metallic form, and The Lizard King rams into solid steel, and bounces back onto the floor. "You ok Logan?" he asks. Logan takes a deep breath before answering. "Yeah, I'm ok. He walks over to the Lizard King's barely conscious body and leans over him. "Time to join your son in hell bub," he says as he extends his claws over his head. He then turns to Colossus. Colossus just nods and holds his ground. Logan then proceeds to plunge his claws into the Lizard King's eyes killing him instantly. "So much for him," says Logan retracting his claws. "Thanx for saving me back there and letting me kill him. You're not so bad after all," says Logan smiling at Colossus. "No problem.. friend," says Colossus. The 2 hereos head back to the Blackbird and fly off to the mansion. (scene fades)

Scene 8: Back at the mansion, Colossus and Logan go into Professor Page's office. "Ahh, you're back. Good work gentleman. Another demonic soul has been vanquished," says Page. "No problem bub. Just doing our job," says Logan. Peter Gilmur is back on the screen. "Thank you Logan. I have no more of those violent dreams," he says smiling. Logan nods. "Take care old friend," he says. Peter nods and the conversation is over. He and Colossus head out. But suddenly, Logan feels a sharp pain in his heart. He falls to the floor clutching his chest. "Logan! What's wrong?" screams the Professor concerned for him. No answer from Logan. "Pietro, call Dr. Grey and bring her here at once." Colossus nods and heads to the hospital. Logan goes into a dreamlike state and sees a Japanese woman standing by the side of a cliff. It is Yuriko, his old girl friend and fiancee. Wind is blowing through her hair. She turns around to see Logan and smiles, but then evaporates into thin air. "YURIIKOOOOOO!!" he screams coming back into consciousness. Valerie and Colossus come in. "Logan whats wrong?" she asks. He looks over at a picture of Yuriko, and as the camera zooms into it, he says: “Nothing, just a dream."
