XTreme Wolverine Season 1 Episode 10: ”Shattered Dreams Part I”

A voice cries out saying: Previously on XTremeWolverine, the following clips are shown:

1- From ORIGIN, Wolverine is shown by a pond fishing.

2- From Battle of the Century I, Wolverine says to Sabretooth, "Healing factor or not, I will find a way to kill you."

3- From Static Shock, Magneto appears in Logan's dream and kills Nightcrawler.

4- From Mortal Sins, Wolverine asks the bartender, "I've heard of rumours going on about some drug dealing here. Is any of this true?"

5- From Mortal Sins, Logan and Peter Gilmur stand over the grave of Eddie Smith.

Scene 1: At the mansion, everything is calm. Inside Professor Page's office, a meeting is being held. "Scott, what have you heard about the reports of shootings in France?" he asks. "I haven't heard anything new Professor. But when I do I will inform you." "Why bother bub?",says Logan chiming in. "Why don’t you send me to investigate it?" He shoots out his claws and retracts them. "No Logan, I need you here. When we get some more information, I'll let you know", says Page. Logan looks down. "Logan, it's not that I don't want you to go. It's just that..." "I understand bub." The meeting ends and everyone goes to their respective rooms and goes to sleep.

Scene 2: We see Nightcrawler in his room sleeping. There is a white flash, and we see his dream. Nightcrawler is doing some research on an experiment. Suddenly, the window bursts open and knocks his papers on the floor. He goes to the window and locks it. "Man, must be a big storm coming", he says. He bends down to pick up his papers when he sees a mysterious shadow. "Who's there?" he asks. No one answers. A young lady enters the picture but we can only see her feet. Nightcrawler gets into a fighting pose thinking it may be Edea. "Don't fear my son. I'm here",she says as she enters the picture and we can see her face. She looks like Edea. "M-Mom? Is that you?" says Nightcrawler. "Indeed it is. Come with me." Nightcrawler goes to his mom and tries to hug her but she vanishes. Nightcrawler then awakes from the dream screaming.

Scene 3: Logan wakes up and hears Nightcrawler screaming. He runs out of the room and down the hall to Nightcrawler's room. He bangs on the door. "James, you ok in there?" he asks. No answer from James. Logan looks perplexed. He opens the door but it's locked from the inside. He then kicks the door in. "James! James!" he shrieks. But Nightcrawler is not there. Logan looks around to see papers on the floor and the window wide open. "Oh no", he says with a soft voice. He then runs out of the room and heads to Professor Page's room.

Scene 4: At Magneto's lair, Magneto and Edea are in bed sleeping (really sleeping, not the dirty stuff). Edea starts to toss and turn. There is a white flash, and Edea wakes up inside a house where she sees a woman that looks like her, a young man with gray hair and a baby boy who looks almost like Nightcrawler. The couple is kissing and playing with their son. The couple then puts the baby to bed and head to the bedroom. Edea goes inside as well. The couple then begins to argue about the baby. They then begin to fight, and the husband hits her in the face with his fist. The woman is shown bleeding from the mouth. The baby is heard crying. Edea looks down at the woman and is shocked to see that it is her. With another white flash Edea awakes from the dream breathing heavily. "What's wrong my love?" asks Magneto. "Just a bad dream dear, go back to bed",she says. Magneto falls back asleep but Edea heads outside. Nightcrawler then transports to the lair and goes to the throne room. He enters and he sees Edea by the window. "M-Mom?" he says stuttering. Edea turns around to see Nightcrawler. She is shown in amazement. "I can't believe this! My son? Is it really you?" she asks. "Indeed it is mother. But I'm not so sure you're my real mother since I saved her from you before." Edea looks perplexed. "I am not sure as well. I had a dream where I saw myself with a man and a baby that looked just like you. We got into a fight and he hit me and kicked me out of the house." "So that's why you left. Dad told me that you were on vacation",says Nightcrawler in amazement. "Your father was a liar and a cheater. I'm glad I left him, but I'm sorry I left you behind." She begins to cry. Nightcrawler goes over to her and hugs her. (?!) "It's ok mother. I'm here now", says Nightcrawler. Edea stops crying but has an evil grin on her face. (scene fades)

Scene 5: Back at the mansion, Logan is going nuts. He enters the Professor's room. "Professor I need your help! James is gone," he says concerned. "What?" "I heard him screaming and when I entered his room, he was gone and the window was shut." Page looks shocked. "I knew this would happen. He went to find his birth-mother." "But, I thought Mystique was his mom", says Logan shocked. "She is. After his real mom left, and his father was arrested, she adopted him. What I don't understand is why James would go see her." Logan thinks. "Maybe to get some answers. Or maybe.." "To get revenge on her for trying to hurt Mystique",says Page interrupting. He then touches his head and uses his mental powers to find Nightcrawler. He sees Nightcrawler in Magneto's throne room hugging his mom. Edea then looks up, smiles and her eyes begin to glow red. A flash comes from Page and he falls down. "Professor!" screams Logan concerned for his friend. "Unghh. I'm ok Logan. Edea is planning on using him to destroy you." "Again?! Doesn't she know what happend the last time?" "That's not all”,Page interrupts. I think, she is a demon. I see her eyes glowing red." Logan looks like he's seen a ghost. Page then calls the rest of the X-men into his room. "No bub. I don't need them for this one. This is personal",he says as he extracts his claws. "Well, be careful", says Page with concern. Logan then gets his uniform and heads out on his bike.

Scene 6 (I envision the theme from Castlevania 1 playing here) Edea is in her room looking at a book of spells. A knock is heard on the door. "Who is it?" "It's me James." "Just a minute my son." She then finds the spell she was looking for and starts to chant the words. "ESU FERMO REOSO", she says. Nightcrawler then clutches his head and screams. "AHHHHHHHHH,GRRRR." The pain stops and he is shown laughing. He lifts up his head to reveal that his eyes have turned from blue to red. (scene fades out)

Scene 7: Logan is on his bike heading towards Magneto's lair. He enters the lair and heads to the throne room. He sees Nightcrawler by the window. "James, you ok?" he asks. Nightcrawler begins to laugh wickedly. Edea steps out and begins to laugh as well. "You're too late mutant. I have him under my power. Now he will kill you and then we will take away your powers." Logan extracts his claws. "Well, it didn't work for you before, and it WON'T work for you again!" He lunges towards Edea but Nightcrawler kicks him in the gut. Logan springs back up and slaps Nightcrawler in the face. Logan is unable to fully retract his claws before connecting with James’ face. A little blood is coming from Nightcrawler's chin. He laughs. "Is that the best you can do brother?" he says wiping his chin. "I'm not going to kill you. Snap out of it James. Fight it." Nightcrawler laughs some more. "It's hopeless mutant. You can't save him for he is my son. No go kill him my son." Nightcrawler nods and blasts Logan into the wall with his tail. Logan is hurled over to Edea, who knocks him down. He is then repeatedly kicked in the gut. Edea is laughing wickedly. "Good work my son. Finish him off." Nightcrawler then grins. Logan gets up trying to catch his breath and is shown very angry.
